Hiding reservations in MDE from other party members

Is it possible to hide reservations/events in MDE from other party members? I want to book a tour and dessert party at AK for one of our days but I'm not sure how to keep it a surprise if it shows up in MDE?

Neither show up linked to your account.

If someone in the party has access to your email account, book them using a secondary, private email.

Oh perfect, didn't realize those reservations are not linked to MDE.

It will only show up in the MDEs of other party members if you add them to the event from your friends and family list. My dessert parties were automatically linked to my MDE because I made the reservation - they are like booking a dining reservation, you do not have to add all party members, it will just link to the MDE account of the reservation contact. Some tours can only be added to your MDE with a 'note' (such as Wild Africa Trek) and are not automatically linked.

I thought dessert parties did show up in MDE the same as an ADR, and since they are prepaid that you did have to enter each guest who is going and can’t just put the lead guest and leave the rest generic. I’m almost positive all of mine have been that way and my Fantasmic Dessert and VIP viewing that I currently have booked shows up now. So if they can see your my Disney experience account it will be there, and if they have one but there name is on it it should show on theirs also. I agree, the tour won’t show up anywhere unless you enter it as a note.

All of the dessert parties I have done show up in MDE. That being said I haven’t done the one at AK but I have done the others.

I wanted to keep a MK AH event a surprise from my mom last year but it Showed up on her MDE and we were going together so Im not sure it wont be seen.

If you have given them permission to view your plans and book a dessert party, they will be able to see it in their MDE
