HIDING FROM FIREWORKS

We will be hiding from fireworks too on our January trip. I have planned meals for during fireworks at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. I have rides planned for Hollywood Studios. My kids like to watch them, but my Aspie melts down if the booms are too loud, so we won't be making an effort to get close to see them.

I had a piggyback question - can you see MK's fireworks from Fort Wilderness? We will be there after our AK day for the campfire and if we can see the fireworks, we may watch them since it won't be super loud there.

Also, can you see any fireworks from POP?

You can see MK, HS and the higher fireworks of Illuminations from the 4th floor on the lake side of building 4 at Pop. You can see the same from Building 2, but Illuminations appears closer there while MK looks more distant.

Just want to tell you that we traveled a few times with a nephew who has Asperger's. He got very upset by fireworks when we were inside the MK, but he loved seeing them when we had a good table at Ohana. I think because they were behind the glass windows, he felt safe. He learned to enjoy them, and by the 4th trip that he came on with us, he was able to watch them in the park.

On a regular night, we've been known to time our visit to Hall of Presidents so that we are there during the fireworks. I think it that HOP closes early during MNSSHP nights though, so I guess that wouldn't work. I think any indoor show or attraction would work (Philharmagic, maybe?)
