Hidden Mickey's

I always here people talking about these scattered throughout the park. In lines, in restaurants and even IN the rides! Anybody know of any real creative ones??

My best advise is to get a book about them they are everywhere built into the rails of things light posts. We had a list of 50 for our 50th annv. trip in June of 05 and found them all listed and then a few . It was real fun and we now look for them at WDW in a new light as we never really paid much attention to them.

The best I have seen at both locations is Flamingo Island on Safari the entire Island is a Hidden Mickey.

I know of several at DL and DCA. I n POTC, the cannonball holes on the wall of the fort across from the Wicked Wench are one. There's also one on one of the breastplates on the walls right before the lift. BTM has a few--most notably the gears next to the second lift hill. Haunted Mansion usually has one on the table in the banquet room (look at the plates). On Soarin' at DCA there's at least 2--in the rocks in the Lake Tahoe scenes and on the golf ball. On Monster's Inc, take a look at Sully's behind. In the Golden Horseshoe there's one on the apron of the stage. There's a couple in the Queue for Buzz. I understand there's at least one of the ride, but I haven't seen it myself. There's a full body one on a mural in Frontierland. Also, hidden characters aren't limited to Mickey--there's a hidden Goofy on POTC.

I've seen the barrels hundreds of times yet I cannot say they are a hidden Mickey. They never quite seem that way to me. Are they definitely supposed to be??

I don't consider the barrels to be a hidden Mickey--to be a true hidden Mickey, the ears need to be smaller than the head and the barrels are all the same size.

I think Hidden Mickeys (like Beauty) are in the eye of the beholder! To my knowledge, there is no "official" list of HMs, so if it's close & you believe it to be Mickey - then so be it!
