hidden mickey in alice in wonderland!

i kept giggling because johnny depp still sounded like jack sparrow to me at times. still really liked it. what did everyone think of the movie???

:lmao: I told my DBF the same thing. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that. I thougt the movie was really good. Honestly I thought the previews looked SCARY for me. :rotfl2: But it was not as darkas I tought it was going to be.

That's a HOOKAH smoking caterpillar, thank you! All of three inches tall, I might add... ;)

I know it was a hookah ;) but DH and I found it hilarious because we have a running joke about AiW and drugs. This was when we first met in 2003. Then we saw that and cracked up. :rotfl:

Did anybody catch the old version of the disney wonder at the end???

I caught that right away! It made me want to see the movie again, to see if there were other "disney" clues that I'd missed. Remember when "Enchanted" came out? it had so many hidden Disney references. It was so much fun watching it over again and picking out the clues. What caught my eye on the ship was the way the name of the ship was printed. The printing is the same as on the Disney Wonder.

Oh, yeah. one more thing: did anyone notice when Alice puts out the beast's eye? and then she gives it back to him? Did it remind you of "The corpse bride?"

maybe I imagined this but I swear there was a mickey head on a door knob in the scene where the Red Queen is in the balcony and talking about the King's head - any one else see this one?

Oh wow! I didn't see that. I also heard there is another one when the Catipilliar blows smoke there is a hidden mickey in the smoke. I didn't see that one either.

Very top middle of screen. I saw this one, but not the other.

I'm reincarnating this thread!
I watched AIW again tonight on Blu-Ray. At the scene AFTER Alice leaves the wedding, in the study, where she is talking to the man about going to China, the picture frames in the background.... I swear they remind me an awful lot of the paintings on Haunted Mansion. My remote was dead, and I had to use the PS3 controller, and as a result I was having a heck of a time trying to rewind it to watch it again (killed the movie twice in the process) but have a look for yourself.
I could be wrong. They sure look like Haunted Mansion paintings to me.
