While I love the "biggies" - I'd like to try a couple new places - maybe resort restaurants that don't get much attention on the DIS.

Give me a few hidden gems. ;)

My personal favorite so far has been Concourse Steakhouse BTW.:thumbsup2

We had a great lunch at Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco. The entertainment and food was great.

I know this gets mentioned, but our favorite is Raglan Road! :thumbsup2

I have a RR question. When you ate there, was entertainment provided? Seems whenever we walk by and consider popping in, it's an "off" time and there isn't anything fun going on. Just wondering if that makes a difference.

I still think a lot of people are unaware of the Plaza Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom...one of our "must dos" every trip now. Great sandwiches, salads, shakes and sundaes.

We were there before the entertainment...that starts at 9pm.

I did a review; if I find it, I will post it here. DH had steak here and said it was better than Le Cellier and Cali Grill. I had the Chowder and LOVED it and I hate salmon which was one of the ingredients.

I am babbling now but its one of our favorites!

I agree. Very quiet and out of the way. Easy to get a seat and good food.

Raglan Road! The food, the service and the atmosphere all get a :thumbsup2 from us! Get an early dinner ADR for a wonderfully relaxing atmopshere-or a late dinner ADR (8:45+) for an upbeat atmosphere with the great Irish Band & Dancer! Just don't order The Shepards Pie. ;)

Having just visited Disney, my family really loved the Rainforest Cafe.

Our gem would have to be the Portabello Yacht Club in DTD. The signature seafood pasta dish is to die for. Homemade break and spreadable roasted garlic. Mmmmmm

Our favorites are HoB at DTD, RFC at DTD, and Cape May Cafe character breakfast.

Liberty Tree Tavern at lunch. No characters, no pre-fab Thanksgiving - just great selections and comfortable surroundings for a nice break in a busy MK day.

Yakatori House - it's not big here on the Dis, but it is a great value, and the food is tasty. Lovely gardens and koi pond, and we love the Japanese Drummers when they perform.

The Writer's Stop - for a continental breakfast, they have a good specialty coffees and huge muffins/danish.

I have to say that my entire meal at Mama Melrose this past December was HEAVENLY!!! I ordered the Breads and Spreads appetizer, Penne Alla Vodka, and Honey Hazelnut and Ricotta Cheesecake.....OMG it was all spectacular!
