Hidden Donald Is BACK!!!!

haha im so bad at finding hidden mickeys. now theres even more to look for with hidden donalds and kermits....oh boy oh boy i guess im not very observant

any tips on finding hidden mickeys?

My best tip is to buy the Steve Barrett Book! It's called Hidden Mickeys (Imagine that!) - and it's awesome! I got my copy from Amazon.com - but I've seen it at Barnes & Noble and some of the mall book stores!

There's a Hiddenmickey.org site that has a LOT of information on it - but I find it a little hard to use.

I used the Barrett book to find about 50 or so HMs a couple years ago - and have them posted on an msn site - http://www.msnusers.com/JimmysHiddenMickeys/shoebox.msnw?Page=1 - Feel free to check it out and PM me if you have any questions! The book works great, but sometimes knowing exactly what to look for works best!

The Barrett book is great...and if you don't get it before your trip, it is sold at many stores in WDW.

Another tip is to ask CM's at each attraction..many times they can point them out exactly. We found that when I had the book out, CM's would recognize what you were doing and would offer to point them out.

PS-Regarding Steve Barrett's book...while it is a great resource, time has passed since it's release. And due to ever-changing nature of WDW, a few of the ones in the book no longer exist (for example, the one in the balloons at the Land was painted over in a rehab).

I sorta see it, kind of, maybe. Not sure, though. I think I was expecting something more like the hidden Donald (with Mickey) in the Great Movie Ride.

The TGR Mickey & Donald Heiroglyphic(sp?!?) is my favorite! If someone has a picture, please post it! I'd love to add it to my site, but I think DW would kill me if I try to take the picture during the ride! (Although, I'll be real tempted to get it in 2 weeks!)

I think that there is a 2nd edition of the Barrett Book out now - it might be a little more updated. Sometimes they do move things around - I've seen the Cord-HM from R&RRC in a couple different locations!
