You think they'd mind if you brought a small hibachi grill and used it out on the balcony??:dance3:

Pros/cons...let's discuss!

I was thinking about bringing a small fire pit for the balcony. We really enjoy sitting around it in our Snugglis at night. Is there enough room on the balcony for 4 chairs and a fire pit? Do you think they would make us move it to the smoking section? ;)

Make sure you roast marshmallows while wearing your Snuggli with a very very short stick.

Aren't Snuggies fire retardent?

I would use the shish kabob sticks! You can get a really little grill and use a sterno can in it to make smores...smokeless! lol

Most fire codes prohibit grills on balconies and some decks (if the building is a multiple residence). It's easy enough to check with the local code enforcement people.

Ahhhh-you're not gonna get me on this one!!

You know with a big enough fry daddy you could probably deep fry a small chicken.....or even better FONDUE!

Hmm...or with a big fryer you could do a whole turkey!

yeah but with the hibachi, the fire pit and the four chairs on the balcony, I think you'd only be able to set up the ultra fry daddy...now if you were on the ground floor you could set up a big ole turkey fryer with 10 gallons of peanut oil, but I assumed a balcolny meant 2nd floor and higher.

I just bought a few weeks ago a stove top smoker. The food that comes out of it is just awsome. I bet the people above you would just figure your trying to send them smoke signals and get upset when they can't figure it out:rotfl:

Good point, good point.
Better use the ultra fry daddy inside your room and put the hibachi on the balcony.:thumbsup2

I'm thinking hibachi, not turkey fryer...you DON"T want to see one of those babies with a wet turkey...lol

Hibiachi swap! Hibachi swap! Just make sure you put all the embers out before you pack it away for the next person! Safety first!:thumbsup2

what a bunch of rookies:rolleyes: you could save the money and make grilled cheese with the iron:banana: or put briquettes in the tub with alminum foil and do some burgers:)

OOooooo...good idea! How frugal of you! You think I could someone from the food court to give me an aluminum tray or two?? With the fan on, we'd be golden!
