Actually, at my school the Math Specialist orchestrated a Penny Count for YEARS. They were all held in a large lucite (I think) box in the library. WELL, she retired this year and decided that she was going to take her pennies and SPEND them as she saw fit prior to her retirement. You're not going to believe this, but there was $10,000 in PENNIES in that box!!!!! That's a LOT of Math stuff!!!!
