We only spent one night there. Had to get my little bit home for his allergy shot. He missed his last week and his allergies are really bad.

It was beautiful. In case you didn't know, my family is all about the food. So that is what our trip revolved around. Had lunch at Johnny Carrino's Italian place, dinner at this really neat new place called Flying Horse Grill (they were only in their fourth week of operations) that had an indoor carrosel for you to ride. Then pigged out for breakfast at the hotel. We love "The Inn at the Christmas Place", where everyday is Christmas.

Little bit and I got back late on Tuesday. Yesterday was spent getting the shots, transferring the serum to the new doctor, paying bills, grocery shopping and laundry. Oops, got laundry in the wash I need to put in the dryer.

I'm home..

Let me tell ya.. oh, never mind.. I'll tell ya when I've had some sleep and can make sense.. We spent today at basketball games.. w/ a disappointed mom..and an EX that is just a waste of oxygen... She actually had the audacity to tell DH that he really didn't need to spend time w/ his Boys today.. RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Guess who is here now.. the boys...
Ok, off to sort through my room, DS decided to help sort the luggage but decided just sorting it into piles in my room was sufficient instead of making sure the owners of said piles picked up their crap to take to their rooms... see the maids work is never done!!!
DH has to burn cds from his lap top and I have to download 4 memory cards FULL of photos.. I have 1600+ on one memory card alone... LOL
Plus our photo pass CD has 98 photos on it..

Oh, and next time I need friends to go with me... my family is too lazy for my blood... we finally made it on Friday to the parks at 9:05am.... and we hit 3 parks that day... LOL

I hope you had a wonderful trip and made lots of memories for yourself!!

I also really don't like to travel to WDW with anyone else because I don't know anyone here or in my family who is anywhre near as enthusiastic about Disney as I am. Now days, I just tell people I'm going and don't really invite people to come along. I do have friends in the area and also ones I've met while at WDW who are as enthusiastic, and those are the ones I meet up with when I'm there. I also know some people, who if they went along, would take care of themselves and do what they want while I'm doing my thing if we don't want to do the same thing so those are safe people to travel with, if and when they decide to come.

You deserve time away for short periods if you want to make a trip down there. Heck, my mother did her thing a couple of times per year when I was growing up and we were still taken care of.

Anyway, welcome back to the flooded, waterlogged midwest!! I still have no telephone service, etc, and some other things are still out.
