Hi! Want to introduce myself

I've been lurking over here for a bit and wanted to introduce myself before I just start posting. I have been to DW many many times, and am planning a trip for my almost 5 year old's birthday in May. This will be my first trip with a dSLR. I'll be taking a Fuji S5. Lenses have yet to be decided. I'm very much enjoying looking at your pictures on this board. I hope you don't mind my hanging out, getting pointers, and giving some out myself.

Welcome! How do you like the Fuji S5? The reviews and sample images I've seen look great but I don't know anyone with one.

I absolutely love it. I'm slowly but surely learning the in's and out's of it. I'm having to learn it on 2 levels, professional and just playing around at home. Didn't think there would be a difference in the 2 but there is. You can see some of my pictures at www.flickr.com/cajunrose Note that most of the ones I posted are just playing around with it and nothing 'special'.

Thanks! I actually work for a professional. I'm his right hand 'man' and am starting to shoot on my own for him. I have been there for 3 months. It is a LOT to learn but I'm loving it.
