Just wanted to say hi :wave2:! We are planning our trip for May 29th-June 2nd! We will be staying at POP and have all of our ADR's. We are on the DDP and trying to convince my DH do CRT!:stir: We are also trying to surprise our kids, but with a 12 year old (suspicious)DS it's kind of hard to do! Also I wanted to thank you all for all the great tips (been lurking for awhile)!pixiedust:

My DH and I are already hooked! We have already got a Passporter and signed up with TGM! This is our fist family vacation and our first trip to Disney! I hope this trip goes well!

Also Thanks for such a warm Welcome from you all!:yay:

We'll be there the same time....we'll be at the WL from 5/26-6/2. It's a surprise for my kids, too (ages 6 and 11). They have absolutely NO idea and since I'm pulling my youngest out of school for the week they will really have no clue (my 11 yr. olds last day is 5/25). We've told them we're going to the beach for Memorial Day weekend. We're not going to tell them until we're driving down. If only I can keep my husband from giving it away! He's terrible at keeping secrets. Hope y'all have a great time! How do you plan on telling your kids? We went about 3 years ago with my sister and her kids for Thanksgiving. We met at my sister's house the night before we were to leave and told the kids we were having a Scavenger Hunt. They thought they might win candy or money at the end. They had 6 clues and when they flipped them over each card had "D" "I" "S" "N" "E" "Y" on the back. They had to put the letters together to figure out what it spelled. You could hear the screams around the block when they figured out where we were going. They couldn't believe we were leaving the next morning and that everything was already packed and ready to go. It was such a fun surprise!

Well hello there !! Be sure to read the Focker Watch threads, so you can join in on the Focking fun times while you are there. If you are so incluned, and the adoption list permits, you may be able to host one of our Focker Crocs during your stay. Would be great fun for the kids !!

Enjoy you WDW adventure !!!!:wizard:

Hey maybe we'll see you there! Already have our LGMH!!! :rotfl:

They think we are going to the beach too! :lmao: Our 12DS thinks we are going to try to go to WDW next year. That's for us just in case we let something slip to save our behinds! We told them that our hotel at the beach won't be ready so we are going to stop in Kissimmee and try to go to DTD. (Because my DS LOVES Lego’s) And then go to the beach the next morning! I have made pre-made baskets for them both with Disney related stuff in them. My DH and are going to set them up in the room so the next morning they will have them and then tell them we are going to WDW!!! That's if my DS doesn't find out by then!:rolleyes1

Your scavenger hunt sounded so fun, I bet they had a blast! What a wonderful memory for you all! I hope you guys have a GREAT time also! I know we just can't wait!! :yay:

Thanks! My DH and I have been reading about that and thought it sounded like so much FUN!! I just thought we where to "NEW" to join in on the "Focking Fun!":rotfl2: We went to Home Depot last night and smuggled some LGMH out :cool2: This is just too great!

Mine think we're just going to the beach in SC. My inlaws live in Myrtle Beach so it's not such a stretch to say we're going there for the weekend. Both my kids have been bugging me lately about going to Disney. My daughter asked if we could go this summer and I told her it was just too expensive...we wouldn't make it this summer but sometime soon. So she will really be shocked!

The Scavenger Hunt really was fun. My son was too little to understand what was going on (he was almost 3) but my daughter was in 2nd grade and my nephews were in 4th and 7th and my niece in 9th grade. We have it all on videotape and they love to go back and watch it again.

I, too, have bought little goodies to give them. I bought Disney Crocs for all of us. And I've gotten them some t-shirts and duffel bags from the Disney Store. Target had Pirates of the Caribbean stuff in their $1 section that I picked up (lanyards, memo pads, etc..). I think I'll start handing them stuff on the car ride once they figure out that we really aren't going to Myrtle Beach!

We have vacationed in Florida before. We told them that we were going to Cocoa Beach. We also told them that we just couldn't afford to go to WDW also! :rotfl2: My DS say's everyday that he wants to go so bad and that he can't wait for next year!:rotfl:

I'm wandering if my DD (30 months) will remember any of this also. We will have to take lots of video and pictures!!! That is so great you can watch those over and over. I bet those good feelings come back every time you watch!:cloud9:

We went to Target to and got those $1 items! We got the princess purse and note pads and the Pirate's lanyard and notepad and pencils! I have bought so much Disney stuff that we could probably had two vacations this year! :rolleyes1 That's a good idea giving them stuff on the ride down but I just don't want to give it away too soon!:flower3:

It sounds like you've been lurking for awhile now. You are very organized! So do you have your Crocs and Baggallini? I finally broke down and purchased both last week for my trip! LGMH are laminated so I can start to pack

Welcome of the DIS and have a great trip!:thumbsup2

:flower3: Thanks! Been lurking for a few months! I'm trying my best to be organized, I've learned so much from the Dis board! The way I look at it is if we are going to WDW we better do it right!

Yep we all have our crocs! I wish we had the Disney Crocs but the way I see it more money saved is more money spent in the "World" :goodvibes I thought about the baggallini but thinking we will just take our trusty fanny pack! We are taking our stroller to and we end up using that for everything!

For the LGMH's we got both Green and Black sending DH with them to laminate tommorrow!:cheer2: I can't wait to pack but DH will laugh if I do it this soon! Everything is put into separate bags and organized for each person!:rotfl:
