So after an extended break, I finally found my scrapbooking mojo!
I realized that it's been almost 2 years since I last was in a swap, and I remember not being around much even before that. I actually just opened the box from that swap, and an envelope from another swap about a week ago. I've done a few pages here and there, and a couple projects, but only really got into the swing of things the last 3 weeks or so. It looks like a lot has changed around here. Eventually, I would like to get back into swapping. But for now, I have too much stash to use up first.
I'm still in Denver, and not much has changed although I have a 20-month old nephew to scrap for now, so I'm loving all the Little Boy stuff. We went to Hawaii last year for his first Birthday Luau, and we stayed at Aulani for a couple days, so I have that big project to work on, eventually.
And after, scrapping for a decade already, I only now really feel I have figured out both my style and my "process." But now that those are figured out, my pictures are really flying. Completed Pages, still working on that because I've figured out my process is: Put a bunch of pictures on pages, then go back and do all the journaling, then go back and do all the titles, then go back to make sure the page is embellished how I want it. So it takes a long time for 1 page to get done, but I'm completing a dozen pages at once.
So a wave to all the old timers, and to the people I haven't interacted with yet.
