Hoping you PA girls can help me out....I booked CSR free dining today for 11/22-11/29 I have checked all the airline fares and it is going to cost me almost the same amount as my package for airfareNot sure what to do? Possibly drive down..., which I really don't want to do...take the autotrain back? So do I suck it up and buy the expensive airfare or bag the trip?

FYI, I drive down every year. Last Sept.2008 it cost me $500.00 for gas round trip. May want to rethink flying after all. Good luck in what you decide to do.

which airport are you flying out ??? if you Book Airtran ~ one way to PHL-MCO and book another one way MCO to PHL you can use $25 coupon each way which will save you $50. Do you have the link ?? The flight have to be book by Oct. 31st.

plug in your email and you get a certificate number that you can use when you book online with airtran!!! Offer expires 10/31/09 good till travels till Dec. 18,09

I've been toying with airfare for mid-November I agree, it's higher this year then ever. I've never paid more than $200 per person to fly to MCO from ABE - and the good flights are now almost $300! sraiford - what airport do you use? Everyone seems to love SW & AirTran from Philly, if that's an option for you. I'm only 15 min. from ABE so I really need to fly out of there. AirTran recently started flying non-stop again from ABE but they only go 4 days a week, and very odd times of the day. But their rates are only about $170 per person, if times don't matter to you. For a short trip like we're planning I need to be on the 6am flight down to FL & the 5pm flight out of FL that last day. But it looks like I will pay for that!

We usually drive to Pittsburgh, and that is over a 2 hour drive for us. I have checked Cleveland also. Philly would be about a 6 hour drive for us. We are in DuBois, north of Pittsburgh. Middle of nowhere!I check the DING each day on SW and I have checked AirTran. It is just really expensive!

Sorry sraiford, I don't know anything about Pittsburgh or your area! Good luck, keep checking. I've been checking online daily this week & prices have changed every single day. Did you try a low fare finder website? I usually go to Travelocity to see what's available, then go directly to the airline's website to look into it further. I think being that it's Thanksgiving time you're not going to find any miraculously low rates.

"toying" "toying with airfare"??????? NO NO NO!! There is no "toying"!!! This IS happening!!!

LOL don't worry Linda, I have 3 free tickets with FF miles - (United, USAir and Delta)....I was just "toying" around to see if I could get something around $150 I'd just pay to fly & save the free tickets for another time when fares are higher.

AC....would you believe I forgot my camera!!! Deb & the other ladies had their's though. So we should get a pic or two. We had a wonderful time. It was so nice to have a good visit with people you talk to on the DIS.
