Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!

DS and I have season passes to Dorney Park if anyone wants to do a meet there

Have you seen the VooDoo run yet? I have been past there so many times and I have yet to see it:confused3

I haven't seen VooDoo yet, but I love rollercoasters! Unfortunately DS is only 3 and doesn't quite meet the height requirements for the coasters (much to his disappointment). We'd be up for a meet at Dorney during the week.

Ok this is it... those who got kiddies ( or big kids at heart are also welcome)who wants a post card sent ... PM me.. my last trip to the world is next weekend June 7,8,9... then the next time will be in Sept... I will be sticking to the easy post cards like the FAB 5 with something like cant wait to see you note or add in your PM a preffered note... :thumbsup2 The last time I can check my PM would be Friday morning... then its :badpc: :hyper: :moped:

We are going to Disney World in just 18 DAYS! I haven't been since 1974. I am really looking forward to spending a few days there with my parents walking down memory lane AND sharing my little girl's first time EVER!

Anyone else from PA going the week of June 15th?
:wave2: Welcome!!! I might be meeting my brother & family sometime in June. My DSIL just called & stated she "HAS GOT TO GET BACK TO DISNEY!" :rotfl2: It's sooo close, I don't know...will have to see what happens.
:thumbsup2 :cool1:

You know.....I was thinking....:rolleyes1 Perhaps we should try to arrange a PA DIS "gathering" @ Disney???? Just us girls!! What do you think???? If we plan far enough ahead, maybe we could get good deals on flights, rooms, etc????? We could stay @ POP for just a long weekend. Just thinking out loud! :confused3 :rotfl:

Hey Everyone! Welcome to all the new people. We have been busy with baseball, and I'm trying my hand at scrapbooking (Bought a cricut), I'm making DH a father's day card, I think I'm almost done:confused3. I'm also working on Fish Extender gifts for the repo in August.

The weather today was so nice we went to DS tournament day at school and went for a nice ride:moped:

Hey! Another avid scrapbooker here! And I am not too far away. I live near Reading. I am actually in the process of opening a scrapbook retreat house in Hamburg.

Hamburg....Lenhartsville....I grew up in New Smithville so I know exactly where you guys are talking about!

Hamburg - trip to Cabelas and then either go to the Westi to eat or
Port Clinton Hotel. Love the fries and the portions are huge. It surely is neat to see how many people from PA are from this area. I am in Temple.

Just checking in to say hi to all the Fellow PA Disers! We will be there two weeks from today! So excited!

Hope you are all having as beautiful weather statewide as were are in Allentown!

I'm heading down tomorrow for a last minute trip with 2nd daughter. I'm surprising her, which may or may not be a good thing. I'm not sure how she'll react when I'm waking her up at 2:30am to get dressed, so that we can leave for the airport at 3:15. We live in Schuylkill Haven, so I have and hour and 45 minute drive for me to get to Winner Parking, so that they can get me to the airport for 5:30am.

For those of you going down before August 31st, there is a coupon for winner parking for $5.95 per 24 hour period. Just go to www.longtermparking.com scroll down to Winner Parking and you will see it there.

Anyway, we will be there only 3 days, but the price was right, especially with the AP rate rooms that came out.

From your mouth to God's ears. A few years ago we surprised the kids with a trip down, and all Taylor(DD who is going) was concerned about was the dog and if he would be OK at the Doggie hotel. I believe I heard her say "I don't want to go to Disney if Beau can't come" Now she was in 1st grade at the time, and now she just finished 5th, so I'm REALLY hoping her attitude has changed.

Bad hair day today in PA!

Hi Gals,

So I went into my duaghters room yesterday at 2:30am, and told her she needed to get up. She looked at me as if I was nuts and asked me why. I told her we were going to Disney World. She rolled back over onto her side and said "We are NOT going to Disney" "I need some proof". So I turned around as woke her older sister up and I said,"Ellissa, is Taylor going to Disney today?" Ellissa told Taylor she was going to Disney and she just need to hurry up and get out of bed. With that Taylor laid back down and told me she needed more proof. I brought her out to the living room where I had a suitcase packed. So NOW she finally realizes she's going to Disney. After her repacking the clothes her sister got out for me, (can't have clothes your sister packed, ya know) We were on our way. She slept on the ride to the airport, the plane ride was uneventful, got our rental car from dollar, $71.00 for 3 days in a compact but I had a coupon for a free upgrade to a midsize.

We stopped at Super Target to grab some water and a Starbucks, and proceeded the short drive to Port Orleans - Riverside. We got her and our room was already ready for us, 9901. Well, it turns out it was a handicapped room with a King Bed. OK, so we were going to deal, but than I went into the bathroom area and the counter top was stained yellow, as if someone left a hot iron on it, but it was on over half the counter, so I went to the front desk and asked to have my room changed. I also told them I wanted the address for guest services, so I could right a letter to let them know that this room was not up to Disney Quality. I will let them know that I'm a travel agent and I would not be happy if one of my clients was put in that room and that I'm sure my clients would be equally disappointed.

So anyway, after the room was all straightned out, we were off to EPCOT. We rode Spaceship Earth with Taylor thought was very cool. This weekend is all about her, and her next step surprised me. A few months ago, my dkids had some sort of deal, and the end result was that Taylor would have to get on Test Track. This is a ride, she just doesn't want to go on. Anyway, she told me we had to go on, cause she told everyone she would. Well the wait time was 80 minutes and the fast pass return time was 6 hours later, so needless to say, we didn't ride it yesterday. Taylor wanted to get a henna tattoo so we walked over to Marocco, got the tattoo and were done. We had a funnel cake in the America pavilion ( which led to me doing a survey on our way out of EPCOT) and we saw the Voices of Liberty. These singers are just wonderful. At this point it was really hot, so we decided to leave EPCOTand come back to POR to get cooled off.

Taylor wanted to go to Downtown Disney, so we did. Well, can you say RAIN! We got soaking wet, which felt quite good, but I was wearing white capri's, Hello, good thing I wasn't wearing hot pink underwear or a thong. Not that my behind would be caught dead in a thong, but. Anyway, the boat stopped at POFQ and we all had to get off since there was lightening in the area. We had to walk back to POR which mortified a family from Australia, but the captain of the boat explained to them that the boat had to stop as it is metal and metal and lightening on water don't mix to well. He also told them they could hang out at POFQ if they wanted. They choose to walk back with us.

So we did get a good nights sleep and now we are off to AK which is Taylor's favorite park for the morning.

DH says it is raining on the eastern side of PA, so he may not be working. He's a lineman, so rain and power lines don't mix well either. Well, not unless its storm work and he's making doubletime..
