Well, can you say RAIN! We got soaking wet, which felt quite good, but I was wearing white capri's, Hello, good thing I wasn't wearing hot pink underwear or a thong. Not that my behind would be caught dead in a thong, but.

Now that's funny!! Sad thing is that there are quite a few people out there who would wear the hot pink thong under white pants!! Hope that was your last day of rain on your vacation!

Thank God the AC was working at my work today. I'm on my feet all day and when the AC breaks down when it is this hot my feet swell out over my shoes and really hurt and since I don't sweat from the neck up I tend to overheat very easily.

I don't even want to take my motorcycle out right now. It's fine when you're moving, but when you stop, you roast. I wear a helmet, jeans, a nylon jacket and leather gloves. You need whatever protection you can get when you ride. I can't believe they repealed the helmet laws. I used to work on an ambulance and saw my share of Motorcycle accidents.

Take care everyone and try to stay cool.

I Agree it's to hot for the bikes, did you see the new Cam Am Syder Roadster? I test drove one yesterday over at Blackmans. I see you are from Catty, I'm over here in Fullerton.

I haven't seen that bike. Who makes it or is Cam Am the maker? I just bought a 2007 Yamaha Virago 250. I also own an 81 Yamaha Exciter that needs work. DH is trying to get parts to repair it, but it may take a while so I got new. We had his 82 Yamaha Virago 750 repaired because they could still get parts for his. DS (21) just got a Yamaha RZF600 Crotch Rocket. I hadn't riden since I found out I was pregnant with him, so between that and getting a new bike it's been interesting. I'm starting to feel comfortable on it again. I ride it to work and the gym.

Never heard of Cam Am, but have heard of SkiDoo. That bike sounds interesting. I am 5'7" but have short legs compared to the rest of my family. The 250 is just the right height. I learned about 24 years ago on my DH's original bike, a Honda Hawk 500 automatic. It was way too big for me. I was on tiptoe and that's not good. He got me a Honda CB 125. It only went 45 mph downhill w/ a tailwind. We traded up to the Yamahas a couple years later. He gave his up after abdominal surgery and mine went into storage when DS came into the picture. They didn't start after being stored and we didn't have money at the time to do anything about it.

DS just graduated from Automotive Training Center and is now working full time for AAMCO Transmission. He had been working part time for them for a year while he was in school. He was driving 1 1/2 hours each way for school 5 days a week and gas was killing us. Now between no school and the Motorcycles getting such good gas mileage the gas bills should be going down quite a bit.

terri!!! ohh be careful with what you wish for!!! Remember it is TRUE.. "The grass is always greener at the other side of the fence" I truly believe in that but then I remind myself... I wonder how much is their water bill... then I go back tending on my dead brown crunchy grass.. it is not bad after all

OMG!!! Good thing I was a good adult that weekend and was not a bad influence... hahahahaa
