Eh, I got drug there 3 times and never liked it, but then again I don't ride the rides. Its a small park so once you walk around there's not much else to do.

I have never been to Knoebel's. Would it be a fun trip for DH and I?

if I finish laundry today before going to work... I will try to drive for the day tomorrow... Sunday... coz my next off is memorial weekend... I dont think that will be a good day to drive the turnpike

Well I am sooo bummed !! I left work early today, to head up to Knoebels.
I got home, and by the time we sat and debated about going or not, due to the weather, we decided not to take a chance. Now it's 4:30pm, and it hasn't rained a single drop here !!! I am so mad, today would have been the perfect day-no sun, and not hot !!
Helene- I sent your PM.
Also, if you went tody- post how your day was !!!

Oh yes we went! We got there at just about noon and the line for the handstamp was about an hour long. Needless to say we did NOT get one. We spent about as much as tix as we did the handstamp so it wasn't a total loss. We left at about 5:30pm it closed at 6 and we did not want the mad rush to the car and then traffic plus it started to get cloudy. I am just amazed at the weather. It was sunny about 75-80 just a GREAT day! I said before my camera decided to come back from the dead? well I took 4 pics and it died again. I"m so happy we took the chance and went. I wanna go back already. I kind of promised the kids we'd go again next weekend. Summer is almost here YAY

i Love Knoebel's and last year we offered to take DStepD's and they didn't want to go. One is a ride fan the other is not. We were going to go to the pool and then two of us would have done some rides, and the four of us could have done the few that the others like. That had friends that told them they didn't like it and so as Teenagers go, I bought tickets at AAA and then we didn't go. I won't offer any more. I would maybe get them to do a cabin and sleep up there and perhaps then they would like it. Bummer. I have friends that work and run the arcade, so when i get up I like to stop to see them. Hopefully I will get up this year.

AH Knoebels...had my first date there...sweet summer love...1986...we even took those goofy little black & white photo booth pictures, I bet I still have them someplace. I remember it like it was yesterday & it was 20 years ago! Man I fell hard for that guy but I lived here in eastern PA & he was 2 hours away in Trevorton...I wonder what ever happened to that guy from central PA.....anyway, my dad lost his class ring in the pool there back in 1960....still never found it and I swear it's the same exact pool now as it was back then! Ok I have honestly not been to Knobels since the mid-80's....so I have no idea. Just reminiscing...
