Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!

We looked into that development, but we eventually move into a development pretty close to the state police barracks off of 183. My kids go to Blue Mountain, what a change from St. Michaels in Limport and in Colesville.

The Sheetz has the store part open, but not the pumps as of last Wednesday. I tend to go to Wyomissing quite often. Love the shopping plaza with Marshall's and Ross in the same place. Tuesday Morning is one of my favorite stores to spend some time milling around in.

Now I need to find a pediatrician down there somewhere, as the ones in Schuylkill Haven, Orwigsburg and Pottsville don't seem to be taking new patients.

. And last night I became the over-protective parent because 3 of my children were over at the neighbors jumping on their trampoline, well, their trampoline doesn't have a net on it, and I don't want them jumping on one that doesn't have a net. Now we have a trampoline, but it has a net on it. So I guess it's more fun with no net, but I was concerned with the bouncing off and injuring yourselves part of the no net issue.

Needless to say, I'm sure I'm mean, but I'd rather having them walking past me probably mumbling under their breath and not.

were all 3 on the trampoline at once.. that is very risky, only one should be on....

a few years ago my stepson was jumping on a tramoline with a friend, at the friends house, because they were jumping at different times, the trampoline was coming up as the friend was going down,,the force shattered his ankle....

he had to have multiple surgeries to fix it..

we learned a lot about trampolines at that time...\\such as many insurance companies will cancel homeowners policies if they become aware of trampolines on the property, due to high number of injuries and lawsuits...

When I showed up at the house, only 1 was on the trampoline but I would bet, that at some point they were all on together. Ya know it's more FUN that way, when everyone is jumping all together....

Hey it sounds like we're playing Six Degrees of Separation for John & Kate Plus 8....I got married in Reading....does that count??!!

Anyone up for a quick local DIS Meet at Starbucks at The Promenade next Thursday? I work at 11 that day but could meet by the fire pits for coffee around 9:30-10am.

Tara wish I could. I'll be down in the Macungie area later that evening.

I used to live in Quakertown, but since I sent my kids to school at St. Mikes, I did alot of stuff up that way. I am still a girl scout leader for one of my daughter's troops who meat in Coopersburg.

they live in wyomissing VERY close to reading. I didn't see it last night but I've spotted the twins in a few of the same outfits I got my girls at the outlets ;)
They moved from Wyomissing awhile ago.

I can play too!!! Jon's father was my sons' pediatric dentist. He died a few years ago. I believe he was only in his 50's. He was a very nice man & was very much into soccer. If I remember correctly, I think he coached his boys' teams. I never met Jon. Kate worked at the Reading Hospital. Never met her either, but have heard horror stories about her personality!:scared1: Now you know what they say, don't believe everything you hear. However, she does show that side quite often in the series!

Hey Linda, By any chance do you live in 19608? You look just like a neighbor of mind and her name is Linda.... I only met her once a year ago, but haven't talked to her since then....
OK...I've been found out! :rotfl: Now being that I met you a year ago & haven't seen you since, I think you live on the Circle, right? You had just recently moved. Well, I'm still here!! Just don't get around the Circle very much during the winter. I'll probably start walking since the weather's getting nicer! We'll have to have our own little DISmeet!!

Speaking of DISmeets!!! Only 8 more days until our DISmeet in MK!!

Would be nice, but can't make a Thursday long day at work. I am sure Princess Always is thrilled that she now has Small World in her head since she just loves that tune.

the 6 were born at hershey hospital. So was my dd#1 :goodvibes it was so funny to watch the NICU reunion show and see some of the same nurses that helped my daughter go home on tv :thumbsup2 I dont miss that place one single second though
My second DS was also born at Hershey, I went into labor two months early and at that time Reading wasn't equipped to handle preemies that early. He now is the biggest of my two sons. He also had surgeries and treatment up there as well. I was getting to the point that I could probably drive 322 or 422 with my eyes closed.

dd#1 Abby was born with a heart defect (double outlet right ventricle, ASD, VDS, AV Canal, pulomary stenosis ect ect ect...) She was in the NICU for 33 days after birth with feeding problems. Abby was also small she didn't gain weight like other babies do. She was on 32cal formula plus rice cereal, normal is 20cal now she is 4'3" at this rate she'll pass me out by the time she's 11. She had her open heart surgery on April 23, 2001 when she was just over 6 months.:thumbsup2

Hershey does have great facility, and boy is it great when you drive through and the wind is going the right way and you smell the chocolate. How is Abby doing now. I hope she is great. Have you ever heard any of the families when they call in during the Children's Miracle Network and talk about the wonderful treatment and things that happened at Hershey? Many have made me cry.

Awww guys, sorry you had such problems with your little babies! I was at Geisinger once during the Childrens Miracle Network telethon & it was so moving!

Ok what is the best OTC med to use for muscle pain? I did something VERY dumb today. I was going to come on here & say how I hurt my shoulder pruning & mulching, it was so nice, I was out doing yard work all day long. Ok but honestly, when I came in for lunch there was a great old Kiss song on the radio & I just had to bang on the counter with my hands like I was playing the drums along with the song. Stop laughing. Well on the last beat I slap my palm hard onto the granite & BAM a pain shoots up my arm & into my shoulder & now it's so sore I can barely use it to type! ACK! Must...type...on....DIS...:scared1: I've had trouble with this shoulder for about 2 months, I can't tell if I've torn something or it's tendonitis or arthritis or what, but it's never been bad enough to take anything. Now I need some meds but don't know what to take!! Tylenol? Aleve?? Ibuprofin??

Sorry to hear about your injury Tara. I'd try Aleve first since it works for 12 hours so you should be set until tomorrow morning. If that doesn't help much, then I'd try Advil, followed by Tylenol as a last resort.

Have you put ice on your hand/shoulder? I'd try that for the first 48 hrs and then switch to heat (you could buy the disposable heat wraps so you're not tied to a corded heat pad). I hope you're feeling better soon.

I've been having some forearm pain and I'm praying it's not carpal tunnel. Typing seems to make it worse, which is not good news for my Dis-ing time :surfweb: .

They are now building a sheets right there by redners, it was almost done last time we were down at the auction.

OMG !! They were talking about that when we left in 11/2006. I can't believe it finally is up- the traffic is gonna be a mess on that corner !!

Abby is good. As good as new? :confused3 ;) She's a very very LOUD child, sweet but god she's freaking loud. She doesn't sleep either which drives me a little insane. :sad2: Heart baby's sleep more my *** ;) Hope your son is good too!! Tara we've actually been at geisinger too (by life flight), we were in a car accident while I was preg. with her sister. Abby took the brunt of it :( She had to have surgery yet again at 17months old. She wound up with about 250 stiches near her eye and in her head :scared: I swear if its not one thing its another with me and her :rolleyes1 and because of that car accident when I'm preg I get "stuck" sometimes my back just wont let me move :scared1: So me and you sound like we are in pain tonight I'm only allowed tylenol which does NOTHING. I'd try aleve or advil.

Before we moved, we used Reading Pediatrics (offices in Wyomissing and Fleetwood- off rt 73 & 222-past the Leesport Diner). I even continued to use them while I lived in Schuylkill Haven- I wasn't thrilled with my choices up there. I still use, and now even work there and love it !!! We are open 7 days a week... 5 weekdays until 9pm... Saturdays until 4pm... Sundays until 3pm.... We are taking new patients...

OMG !! How funny. Yes, I live on the Circle. I had just moved in here April 2007, you were so nice at that meeting, and I really enjoyed talking to you!! I can't believe I recognized you from a pic.
Imagine, 2 Disney "nuts" in the same development
Tell your DH the lawn looks great :thumbsup2
