can you be inlove but dont know to who or to what??? Ever since I got out of my rocky roller coaster relationship last November .. I cannot help but smile and chuckle from time to time... I mean I am dead broke with all the bills he left me but still can do this Ok.. sorry Peeps... I am not whinning about this happy euphoria I am experiencing... I am just wondering.... Even at work.. their 1st question was "are you in love .. did you get lucky" the answer is no... but they said I have that glow...

Things will get better. I know they did for me. It is amazing how strong we get when we go through things, and how we won't ever let someone make us feel the way someone else made us feel. Yes, I do believe you can be in love but not necessarily know with who or what. I'll tel you love the second time around is different. First you aren't looking for the same things we did as we were younger, and you definitely stay away from people like the type you were with. Sorry he left you with all of the bills. I've been there and done that, mine happened in 2003 and I still have some credit things carrying with me but i started a new. I hope love truly finds you and it is far better for you also the second time around. take care.

1. I grew up and learned I could stand on my own without a significant other in my world.
2. I met the most wonderful man in the world. We will have been friends for 18 years this summer.

My mantras during that time were
-This too shall pass
-Tomorrow is another day
-It could be worse.
Now I think I am the luckiest woman alive. I have a wonderful man who cherishes me and who I cherish, a family and family of friends who are the best in the world.
So enjoy your happy times, there are surely more to come.

see that was the funny thing... yes the 1st blow was achie crazy... but then I had an excuse to stay at marriott for a week (using points thank god) and that was great then when it was time to go home he already left to go back to his ex.. (the ex before me ) and after 2 weeks... I stopped crying and have been whistling since... I mean I sulk when I realize I wasted so much time (10 yrs.. I wanted to have kids.. and it was always a ~ next year.. we'll do it next year.. we cant afford it this year.. etc..etc..) trying to make it work.. but I am somewhat releave that it happend... I guess I did want it to happen but just did not have the courage to get out sooner.. whats that saying... I got comfortable... A few of my friends nag me and tells me I dont have to put up a face.. but I am not really... I am really happy.. broke but happy And I truly mean it that I hope he is happy too!

Congratulations to you for hoping he is happy too. It is best when we rise above and prove that we are better than they are but not getting involved in their antics and childish ways. After my divorce I came up with my new email address - songinmyheart, and that is truly what I had. I hadn't realized how ex had taken me down, taken away my self esteem and basically destroyed any sense of happiness I had. My one son had been saying I didn't have my joy. Well it is back and both sons are happy for me, that is where songinmyheart came from, as I felt I had a song back in my heart. When you need to chat, it looks like several of us are willing to lend a listening ear and support.

Hi all, Hope all is well here. I finally finished the rest of our reservation. We are staying at OKW for the second half of our vacation. I stayed there in December for the first time and liked it, so we all figured lets stay there again. I rented points today off a really nice women, so we are good to go. Got a really good price on the points too which makes me even happier. I am glad I am finally finished. It is a lot of work to coordinate 12 people. My sister did some of the dining ressies today. Having so many people makes it hard to get ressies but she got a really nice CM ( the second time she called) and this lady went all out to get us pretty much every thing we wanted. We are not big planners and have not really ever had a hard time getting in to most places. Most times we just wait to we get to a park and then just get a ressie.

I am really looking forward to meeting everyone on the 24th. Anyone else getting excited that their trip is not far off?

When we meet, we usually have 8 people & the extra room is greatly appreciated! We get the 2 bdrm villa. How many did you need to accommodate 12 people? I've never rented points. Is it financially better to go that way? Is it easy to do? I have an AP & try to go when the passholder rate is in effect.

Has anyone done a land/sea package with disney?? We are thinking of doing this in LATE 2009 or Late Summer 2010.. We'll need 2 rooms but even with the price I was just quoted it didn't seem TOOO horrible.. keep in mind too horrible in price with disney is still freaking expensive!!

Hi Princess, We got an OKW two bedroom as we are splitting up somewhat...my DSis is staying only to the 27th so she is staying that one night at the Hilton downtown with Points. My DBil an one Nephew are also only staying til the 27th and then flying home so we figure we will struggle with 9 people in the two bedroom for one night. One of the little guys will sleep in a pack and play and the other will sleep in the king bed with mom and dad so we should be okay for one night. We will be down to seven after that so it will be smooth sailing. We saved a ton of money...around 800.00 dollars for those four nights if you go by the passholder rate.

This is about the 5th time we have rented points. I have never had a problem....the seller and I set the terms ahead so we both know what to expect. I have met some really nice people this way and also have stayed in some really nice units for a more pleasent vacation. If anyone decides they want to do this I would be glad to help.

$800 savings over the passholder rate?!?!?!??! Wow!!! Next trip with all of us, I just might take you up on your offer to help figure out how to do it!!!

I got lucky with airfare this time too! We originally had roundtrip with SW. Found a cheaper rate coming home with Airtran. Cancelled the homebound SW for a refund. Since they can't refund tax, they put that on a credit. With Airtran, I used my $100 credit so it came to about $30 each. Got a call from Airtran stating the flight was posted erroneously & they had to change my ressie. Hmmm.....they actually changed it to a better time at my original rate, gave me a free upgrade & credited my account again!!!!! We're flying practically free!! Now you know those credits are calling me already!!! Let's see....June, September, November???

We went with my IL's and SIL and her family on a Disney land/sea trip about 5 years ago. It was great, but I would definitely do the cruise part second next time. We were really relaxed after the cruise (no kids at the time, so that helped too) and then hit the parks for 5 days. I'm kind of commando when it comes to touring the parks, plus it was over July 4th, so crowd levels were high and there were lines for everything. Standing in line when it's 90+ degrees out does not really relax me. We definitely all had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat if we had the extra money for it right now. I don't know what they paid cost-wise because they use DVC points for some of the trip.
