Welcome to the DIS...I'm from Wilkes Barre...going to the Bloomsburg Fair today! Food & Wine fest in 24 days!! can't wait!

I probably walked right past you! We were at the fair Sun-Wed stuffing ourselves full of yummy food . My body is not so happy with me for stuffing it full of all the fair food though. I guess I must be getting old, I used to eat fair food all 8 days and feel fine.

I grew up in Berwick, so we used to go up to Wyoming Valley Mall to shop (Columbia Mall didn't exist until I was in HS) and the W-B area for football games and tennis matches.

Just checking in, school has been crazy and I had a busy week. Anyone from the Lehigh Valley checking out Celtic Classic this weekend? I am heading over tonight and maybe a quick trip tomorrow since we can't go until after the Phillies game tonight!

I'm only 10 minutes from Celtic but we never go, I just don't like the crowds (or taking the kids!)- but I did see the Haggis eating contest in the Morning Call today - blech!

Helloooooooo everybody! Just found this thread and thought I'd pop in and say hi from Linwood Delaware County PA!!

My brother lives in Ogden and his children go to school in Chichester. My sister and brother graduated from Chi and I graduated from Media High School (the last class to graduate Media High as it is no longer a high school).
Plus - I know where Dallas is. The woman I did my dissertation reseach with lives in Dallas. We both went to Temple U. I was in Dallas last summer visiting her.

Hey everyone! We don't make it to Celtic Fest either and we only a 5 minute walk from there. Heck, we don't even make it to Musikfest anymore. Can't really stand crowds, especially at home, you know.

ACTUALLY, WE JUST GOT BACK FROM WDW IN JUNE. WE PROBABLY WONT MAKE IT BACK UNTIL 2009 . I JUST GOT A NEW JOB, SO I DONT KNOW IF I'D BE ABLE TO SQUEEZE IN A TRIP NEXT YEAR.
