I just wanted to introduce myself as a new PA'er, having just relocated to Pittsburgh from Fargo, ND.

I've been off the DIS for a while because of the move, but I consider it a good sign that the first day I'm back I find this thread. I have to say that Pghers are some of the friendliest folk I've ever met and I'm loving the city so far!!!!! I'm looking forward to settling in, learning the city, etc.

As for Disney, of course I love it. I think I'm going to love SW flights and DING fares (previously unavailable to me). And we're hoping on going to WDW for the first time in several years, after having gone to DL on our last several trips, in January 2008.

I've been off the DIS for a while because of the move, but I consider it a good sign that the first day I'm back I find this thread. I have to say that Pghers are some of the friendliest folk I've ever met and I'm loving the city so far!!!!! I'm looking forward to settling in, learning the city, etc.

Welcome to Pittsburgh . I'm glad you're lovin' our city, I've always loved it here. Lots to do and not too far from a lot of things. We got some good SW dings last June when we went down to Disney. Here's to hoping for more great dings

Just stumbled on this thread. Another Pittsburgher here. My brother worked at Kennywood all through high school and college - my parents are in Homestead, and my family now lives in the South Hills. So great to see so many PA's here!!

My DS graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh last May, so we did a lot of cross-state traveling, seeing most parts of the state I had never seen before. My DD was at Bloomsburg University, but is finishing in Philly. Nice to see our state being represented. Our best friend moved from S. Philly to Orlando and is always running into folks from "back home". We will be going Nov. 25th to Dec. 1st if anyone from the area will be there then??

I'll be there then!! DS7 & I are taking a Mommy & Me trip 11/29-12/3, staying at The Dolphin. Where are you staying? DH & DS10 will be in Philly for the Eagles/Seahawks game that weekend. I'm about 45 min. north of NE Philly. Howdy neighbor!

I'll be there the same time! Staying at BWV. Another poster & I are going to try to "meet" when she gets there. Perhaps we could arrange something all together. It doesn't have to take up alot of time. Just to say hello, take some pictures, talk a little DIS or go on a ride together! What do you think?? Let me know.

Princess Always & I are staying in the same resort area, so a meet on the Boardwalk would be perfect!
