Hey, one of my friends told me about this area. I am from Berks County and have been all of my life. My son left Berks County in 2003 to go down and work in Disney World, and he has been there ever since. He is involved with entertainment. Sooo, I get the opportunity to visit my son, and one of my favorite places to vacation and save money too.

Family lives in Chester County, Mountaintop, Wilkes-Barre and Kingston.

Hey doombuggy........we've got two PSU grad's also.....DH and older DS (26)....youngest DS is starting his freshman year the end of the month, and DH also is adjunct faculty (Supply Chain Management) at the Worthington Scranton campus. We're about 12 miles from the WilkesBarre/Kingston area and about 18 or so from Mountaintop.

We switch back and forth from PA to MD. We are in MD during the week and PA on the weekends b/c housing is ridiculously expensive in MD and we co-live with my Grandpa so I can still graduate with all my friends.

I'm a PSU grad myself and my DH is an honorary (spent most of his weekends there while I was in school.)
