Hi i'm from P.A.!!!!

Here in Norristown, surviving indoors with the air cranking. Daughter wanted to go to the pool and I nixed that idea. Having asthma in this weather outdoors would spell certain disaster for me. But having an ok time while indoors.

Here's my question... I will go to Disney World in August any time I have the opportunity, but I won't go outside in July at home, is this normal???

On the DIS, this is perfectly normal behavior....in other parts of life, no!!! LOL!

LOL you're much braver than I am...I just cannot stand the heat & humidity anywhere - even WDW. I won't go May through September! Last year we went the last week of October - OMG it was soooooo stinking hot & humid - so now I'm swearing off October too! Orlando broke a record the week we were there - 95 degrees - and total humidity - I was miserable!

I just booked my November trip TODAY! Woo hoo another Girls Trip. Just had one in March, and a family trip right after that. I am a lucky lucky girl!!!!!!!

YES!!! I had him Fri, May 13th! He is a doll! Of course now that I've had him I can't wait to take him WDW (hence the sig!) so my gears are turning (think I Love Lucy!).

ANOTHER GIRLS trip....I am SOOO jealous. I was telling someone today I would love to do a solo or adult only trip but I would feel SO guilty going there while the kids are little......one day.........

LOL I was just saying this to my mom today when she was complaining about the heat only time she was down there with us was in oct ive ben in june july aug and oct i really dont care how it is ill go to disney whenever I can(btw last aug we went during free dining and it was one of the best times we had)

my girls are already saving for disney and we dont know if we are going next yr or not.(il's did say they wanted to do a family trip that means they get a rental house because there will be 11 of us unless someone in the family has another baby by then) usally if we do a family trip its for 2 weeks and in the beg of aug i dont care if we are on site or off i just need to know to see what parks have emh and if were not stay on property ill avoid them

last yr we stayed on site and did bb or tl in the morning came back ate took a nap then hit whatever park had pm emh that night only thing i really wanted to do was tsm and of course it was down

Tara, let me get this kid off my 'chest' and I am IN!!!! I would LOVE to go on an adult trip...although I think I would feel SUPER guilty leaving them while I go someplace they really want to go....but......

My mom is sellign her house this year and moving to LV and has hinted that she will be giving us each some money to enjoy....our hosue needs a roof, so a bulk of it will go toward that, but the rest...a nice vacation!!! Haven't decided if it will be a 'me only trip' or a family trip! Keep me in the loop for the PA gals trips...maybe in a year or 2?!?! I think it would be a blast to go with you all!

we are going from 2/9 thru 2/13. I booked our flight down last night. $65 on SW from Philly. I looked and saw AirTran has a similar flight from Allentown for $65, but then we would have to pay for luggage. Plus, we are going to take some of the cheerleader luggage with us, since they are flying Airtran, so we are saving them some $$
