Got back on Friday pm after a fab 17 days in Florida

Stayed overnight at Gatwick Hilton
Flew out Virgin 18 Apr - first time in 6 years - flight was good
Stayed at Calabay Parc in a 5 bed Villa (6 of us) so we had loads of space
Parks were very busy for the first week - with huge groups of 'Class of 2006' teens
Weather was hot and sunny with temps ranging from 85 - 92 degrees
Vero Beach was fantastic - what a beautiful place !
Came back to find the Villa had been broken into and the safe has been smashed open. Luckily only a relatively small amount of cash was stolen and one credit card. 10 houses were burgled in 3 days apparently.
Parks were lovely and quiet for the last week - walked on MiB 3 times on Thursday !
Everest (front row) was brill
Flew back Thurs but was disappointed with PE - found the seats very uncomfy compared to BA's WT+

Overall a fantastic time was had by all

Would you stay at Calabay Parc again ??

The Villa itself was lovely & I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it but we found the traffic has increased so much on SR27 that it would have to be a very good deal for us to stay out there again. Guess we were spoiled at Indian Creek last time

Sherberth Rd was invaluable - AK in 18 mins, MK in 28mins, Epcot/MGM averaged 23 mins and 40 minutes to get to Universal

Hiya and welcome back, were staying in Calabay Parc soon, makes me nervous now, do they have any place to store passports/credit cards when not needed, i.e in the entrance office?

Sorry about the break in though, do you know what houses were broken in to?

How were the police when you called them to report the break in?

Deputy Gaylord was great - very friendly, very sympathetic and very patient with the girls. He arrived within about 40 minutes (the ManCo arrived within 15) and told us not to worry about dialling 911 if we saw/heard anything suspicious.
