I'm going back.... practically for FREE!!

Sorta.

I got a great deal...

Tickets $0
Room $0
Airfare $189 (not booked yet...)
Food $160 (assuming I do the DP...but maybe less )

Total....$340!!!

How could I not go!!

At least thats the story I gave DH... and I'm sticking to it!!!

I took my first Solo trip in October 08... came home a NEW WOMAN!! Currently waiting for my DVC membership to close (hopefully in Dec. 13th)...and way too much in a Disney State of Mind!!


I told DH... I need to do somethiing to keep my sanity thru the long winter, and I just can't wait until our Planned July trip!!

Technically I'm at work too though

If I'm hiding in your suitcase, I'd like to request Whispering Canyon and Ohana. At one point previous to the June trip I had ADR's for both. I ended up trading one and not making it to the other. Food porn has killed me ever since!

I'm lucky in that I work in the call center and the phone reps are allowed to surf the internet when the phones aren't busy. Even though I'm not one of them, as long as I get my work done nothing is said. I do think though that at somepoint this will end. Or the DIS will be blocked .

PTR #1. I'm in and excited. I would ask to go in another suitcase, but in addition to the extra baggage fee, I would imagine I would be overweight baggage as well. AND I don't fit in the overhead bin (don't ask how I know.) So, I guess this is all about me living vicariously through you. That's ok. It will be lots of fun!

In the begining......

Yeah, drama's not really my thing.... so back to basics!

For all you new folks

I figured I should introduce the cast of character(s), ya know, the who what where when and the very important WHY....

WHO: Me....Paula (35), wife of Tom (for 13 years), mom to 3 great kids (Kyle, Noelle (aka Ellie), and Allison. I work full time, all 3rd shift, as a pharmacist at a local hospital. I love my profession, but don't like where I work. It does have the upside of allowing me 28 weeks a year in which to vacation.... that's why I'm still there!! I work 7 days, then I'm off 7 days. It's worth the trade offs.

Currently it's another solo trip starring yours truely. However, the who...is subject to change.... I didn't know that when I started this thread, but as of yesterday, I found that it is a possibility (albiet remote).

WHAT: A trip to my favorite place on earth!! WDW!!

WHERE: Sataroga Springs Resort....studio room

WHEN: February 3-7, 2009

WHY: This is a loaded question!! Well, there's several reasons... I'll list them in no particular order.....

I got an AMAZING deal!!

I hate the cold winters of PA...and I need something to look forward to

I discovered in October 08...how taking some time away and taking care of Mom is beneficial for the WHOLE family... and my family agrees
Check out my last TR (a solo trip) in my siggie.

Our next planned trip is in July 09...which seems just way too far away!!

In November, I'm taking my Bro and his family (who are all first timers) so I NEED to do some research


At the risk of scaring anyone away.... here's me...

Here are my girls, Tom and Kyle (at Cleveland Zoo, Sept 08)...I mention this because if I post any other pics of Kyle at some point, he looks like a different kid all the time!...he's at that age where boys start to become men...

I don't have a lot of pics of the boys...they're both 'photophobic'
My girls, on the other hand...love getting their picture taken... so there's always lots of pics of them to choose from!!
