The Cast

Jackie (36) Disney addict and chief organiser - Could sit in Disney all day watching the world go by if the kids would let me

Brian -DH (39) Shares my love of Disney and works very hard all year to fund our obsession - Doesn't do rollercoasters and not fond of flying but loves BTM.

Molly -DD (7) Collects pins and cuddlies. Always has a soft toy under her arm. Loves Star Tours and Phantom Manor

Lewis- DS (5) The whirlwind of the family. Loves Pirates and BTM - cant wait to go on Crush

Granny - Kids love their Granny to come with us and we have a built in babysitter

Granda - Great for taking the kids swimming and he comes on the coasters with me

Auntie Rosie - Rosie is my Auntie and has never been abroad before. She stayed with my Granda and nursed him though a tough battle which he lost in May.

Ok we didn't have our suitcases but this was to be our first full day in the parks so we needed to be up and away early to make use of EMH. This sounded good in theory but trying to get everyone ready in time is a challenge but we managed to be through the Disney gates by 8.45.

It was a cold morning and Molly was freezing (jacket in the case!!) so we went and bought her a waterproof fleece and made made our was down Main Street into Fantasyland. We managed Snow White,Pinocchio,Teacups and Small World and then decided to move onto Get fastpasses In Discoveryland. It was about 9.50am by then and a small queue was beginning to form for Autopia. The kids wanted to queue so my dad and DH took them off to do that and by that time it was 10am so we walked over to Buzz then Star Tours to get fastpasses to use once they came off Autopia :)

We returned just in time to see them passing by in their cars. Molly was now big enough to drive her own car and when she passed the concentration on her face was priceless.

Once they came off of that we headed to Buzz Lightyear for another shot of this great ride.

Lewis could stand all day watching Buzz in the waiting area :)

Off of there and on to Star Tours. Granny and Rosie sat this one out as I usually do but went on for the heat as it was still a bit damp and chilly outside. Kids love this ride. Then in was on to POTC and Phantom Manor which the kids chuckle their way through. I wasn,t that brave when I was 5 :rotfl:

By this time it is lunchtime and as we are just coming back into Fantasyland we decide on Pinocchios Haus as it is closest. We all have the kids meal agin which is hamburger and chips today! By this time the park was very busy so we decide to go to the Studios as I was exceited to see the new rides and wa could see Animagique and Cinemagique and give Rosie a bit of a rest :rolleyes1

Over to the Studios we went had a wander around then it was time for Cinemagique. I never thought my kids would like this but they do and is a must on every trip. We do now play the game to try and sit near.........(wont give the game away) and were thrilled to give Auntie Rosie that honour:rolleyes1 . Everyone enjoyed the snow and then it was onto Anamagique. Molly decided she didn't want to go in and wanted DH to stay with her ( She is a bit like her mum and was probably hatching a plan to shop and she knows who carries the money ;) )
Watched Anamagique then out we came to meet a giggly Molly and DH. They had been on Cars. I stamped my feet cause I wanted to go on !!!!! Once Lewis spotted the ride he was soooooooo excited so we decided to queue which I think was about 30 minutes. The theming in the queue was spot on and before long we were on the ride. It was truly a Disney moment. The kids laughed and I laughed as we were thrown around in these little cars.

After that had a look at Crush but the queues were 100 minutes so decided to leave it for another day. The last ride of the day was the Backlot tour which was a hit with Lewis due to the fire and floods - boys!! By this time it was 5pm and everyone has hungry and tired. The kids wanted to go back to the Rainforest Cafe as I had missed out last night so thats where we headed. It was great as always and the kids love the theming. I had the Hawian Burger but can,t remember what anyone else had and can,t find the receipt  After dinner the kids wanted to go swimming so we headed back to the hotel. The kids dragged Granda and DH to the pool whilst I tried to track down our still missing cases. Still no luck so popped to the shop to buy a new T shirt for Lewis as he had spilled ice cream down his at dinner.

Swimming over the kids went to play and we sat and had a drink before heading to bed dreaming of our suitcases turning up tomorrow.

Another great day Jackie.

We had similar experience with Cinemagique with troops not being keen on this. It is a great show :goodvibes

Great photo's :goodvibes

We loved cars too . It doesn't look much from the queueing area but is great fun once you are on.

Our DD and her friend posed for a similar photo at the queueing area but were a bit too big to sneak in for Lightening and Mater
