This is our first trip since 1990, so I can feel for you; it's a whole different thing!

One HUGE thing that has changed is the need for ADRs (advanced dining reservations) for any sit-down meals you're planning. When we went in 1990, we decided one morning to eat at the Coral Reef and had no problem getting reservations for that night. Apparently now that would be a minor miracle. So if you're planning any table service meals (like character meals for example) you need to make those reservations ASAP. Then again, if you're on the meal plan I imagine you already know that. (If not, have you looked into the meal plan? It would cost $90 per day to feed your family and would include a snack, a counter service and a table service meal each day, excluding tips.)

Bergen County here! It really is so different with kids. It is so amazing to see Disney through their eyes! Be sure to take plenty of pictures & let us know how much they LOVED it!
