Hi from the BCV!

I almost forgot, Bobbi, is one elevator still kind of funky? When we were there, one of the elevators (the one on the left as you face the elevators) was SUPER slow on opening and closing the doors. It was a joke among anyone using that elevator that it had a mind of its own, or needed its morning coffee, etc. And did they put the floor marker-needle thingies back above the elevators? When we were there, the markers were gone, so while you were waiting for an elevator, you had to guess which floor it was on.

We were on the first floor, across from the pool. We didn't use the elevators, sorry can't answer that question.

We were at BCV last week, and did not notice a problem with the elevator on the left. We were on the 3rd floor, so we used the elevators multiple times per day. We rode on the left one as much as we did on the right one. I didn't pay any attention to the things above the elevators that tell what floor the elevator is on - sorry!

Hi Bobbi! Sounds like you are having another lovely, relaxing vacation! How was Captain's Galley? I'll be eating lunch there for the first time 2 weeks from today.

We are on the 5th floor @ BCV now and yes the elevators are a bit wonky. The floor marker needles are both missing and it seems the other isn't working at all, at least not when I've been waiting for it. And the pool elevator keeps telling us we are on the 2nd floor when in fact, we are on the 5th. Must be the Halloween goblins. ;o)

Even though we're at THV now, our ME info for tomorrow apparently went to BCV. DH went to concierge here and got out info.

THVs were a great choice for us for this part of our trip! We've used air car, we've used the busses, and it's all been good. Mosquitos had been a problem with the warm temps and rain from Friday through Saturday mid-day, now, not so much. Wind picked up, cooler, drier.

We're headed to DHS.

Wish I could have connected with you while you were at BCV but this trip was pretty chaotic for us. I don't know what I was thinking when we put 5 kids under 5 in the GV. They kept waking each other up and so poor or no naps meant frequently cranky kids. We rode past the treehouse villas on the boat one day and I thought of you. Enjoy your last day! We'll see you in January for the Illuminations Cruise for sure.

It's a very basic pool, no frills, but there is a hot tub right there. The family walked over to the Grandstand pool on Friday night, but since then it's not been what we've considered pool weather, so, although, I was determined to walk over and use the THV pool, I haven't. On Friday night, the THV pool seemed much cooler than the Grandstand's which was fine.

We've used our car and the busses, including the THV bus, and all of us have been very happy. No long wait for any bus. The parks we went to were MK and DHS.

Did you get to eat dinner at the Cape May Cafe? If so, what did you have? Thanks to you for introducing it to us, we had a great meal there for the second time just a few weeks ago.
