I already made my first post in another thread, but figured I should search for an "introduction" thread.

Name is Dennis and we are in the process of finalizing a booking for POP Century, Dec 14-22. We are going through CAA, though our flight is already booked separately via AirTran. Kids are 8 (daughter) and almost 5 (son) and my wife and I are excited to soon reveal the news of this trip to them - they will be so thrilled. My wife and I did a quick and action packed trip (3 days) to WDW back in December of 1997 and we are looking forward to seeing all that is new and doing it with the joy of kids as well.

Lots still to learn and plan for and this board will be a great part of that.

Hi and welcome to the disboards...we just got back from Disneyworld and stayed at POP as well! LOVED it!
Such a great time, my daughter turned 8 while we were there, she had a blast. I do wish I had taken the time and made ressies for her to do the bibbiddi bobbiddi boutique while we were there. I told her next time we go, and she is already wanting to plan on going back next year ( I too am all for it!)
Hope you have a blast, I am sure your kids will be super excited...we had the video from the disney web site so we kept watching it to figure out what all we really wanted to do and see...just soo much to see in 6 days it is very hard, my advice make sure you see the "wishes" fireworks at Magic kingdom at least once, and do the Fantasmic as well at Hollywood Studios. We did fantasmic twice, but I wish we had done the "wishes' one more than once...it was fabulous!
PS.. I am a Ontarian myself (goderich actually!)
