I'm new to the board, so I thought I'd post here and say hi! I've already booked our flights, and am in the process of deciding on the parks, etc. I have a 1 year old, and a 5 year old. Any advise what parks and how many days we should allow for each park? We are going to be there 8 days.

We'll be staying with family, who will lend us a car (they live 45 minutes from WDW, and 25 minutes from Busch gardens). DH really wants to go to Busch gardens, and we might be able to leave the kids with the family for a day if they are too young for this park.

What about Seaworld? We'd like to do that as well.

Any other advise is greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone have the link to Mousesavers newsletter? I missed the last one. What kind of park passes would you purchase if you were in my place?

Thanks so much! :)

hello I am in ontario :)

We took my dd to busch gardens when she was 18 months. We enjoyed the kiddy land mind you she liked it a bit more than we did :)

We went to wdw in feb for the first time with a ds 2.5 and dd 4.5 we went again in \Sept they were 3 and 5 and we are booked again for March. Everyone has a different opinion but here is mine:

Epcot: we liked the dining her and headed to nemo ride and aquarium before dinner one night. We weren't thrilled with the night time show reflections. We spent most of our time in epcot for dinner and would hit an attraction on the way. WE didn't much to do with little ones so we won't be planning a day there. we will plan on an hour before each dinner we have there.

HS we enjoy this park. we liked fantasmic, voyage of little mermaid, playhouse disney live show, toy story mania, also the honey i shrunk the kids set was a great little play ground to let the kids be kids and run around. we met mater and mcqueen. We tend to go to the park for a am then go to hotel (onsite) go back for a swim and head to dinner at another park and end the evening there. we spent a couple half days here.

AK We enjoyed the afternoon parade. Liked dining at yak and yeti, kilamajaro safari was fun. We were good with a half day here.

MK couldn't get enough. we spent lots of time here. it was great first thing in the am at rope drope as we got more done in the first hour then we did in 3 hrs once the crowds arrived. So much to do we loved it. we also liked going back in the evening. wishes can't be missed. we loved spectro magic the night time parade as well. We have done bbb and pirates leaque and loved both. we were here for a few hours almost every day and longer on some days. this is were my kids wanted to be.

We also spend a day at the waterparks on each trip and really enjoyed this time. It was fun with the little ones and more layed back than park touring.

Have fun :) Take lots of breaks. We did comando (as much as you can with kids) the first trip not knowing if we would ever be back:rotfl2: next trip I actually planned sleep in and resort time and we had a much better trip.

That is just what works for us but I am sure you will get lots of opinions.

Welcome to the DIS! Enjoy your trip, and I would say Sea World is a must as well. The rides are too extreme for your young ones, but the shows are great!
