Hard to believe that it's Monday already...we're enjoying a day at sea. We haven't had time to get on the internet till now, so I don't know if anyone else has posted, but the turnout at the DIS meet before sailaway was HUGE. Tony got a great photo that we'll post when we return. Key West day was relaxing...we did Palo brunch before heading out to the Conch Train, and then we caught the Cat Man's show at sunset. It's amazing how well he has trained those cats! We got some shots, including one of the "fire hoop" jump. Today has been a lazy sea day...we are heading for warmer temperatures, which was very apparent while I was enjoying some verandah time this morning. Today was our character breakfast, and we also had high tea and then ran down to the Castaway Club party. There were over 700 repeaters on this trip.
We were hoping for the new menus, but infortunately they start NEXT week. From what I hear, they are being phased in, with Parrot Cay starting first. That means all you 1/11 cruisers will be able to try that excellent cold avocado soup.
Tomorrow we are going to do the beach horseback ride in Grand Cayman...then we'll probably lounge on the verandah or in the Rainforest (we got the week's pass). We'll try to check in on the internet a few times, so if you have any questions, post away! We'll have lots of great updates to the website, including photos of the high tea and the Palo brunch (which is guaranteed to make your mouth water).

Thanks for checking in with us DIS folks! I can't wait to see the "Cat Man" in Key West. Some of the acts at Mallory Square look quite interesting. Looking forward to your trip report on the western cruise since we'll be sailing after you two. I hope someone organizes a DIS Meet for the 1/17/03 Magic. We have a bunch of folks from these boards onboard that sailing.

Tina :)

I'm curious about the horseback riding at Grand Cayman, did you book this on tour own or through Disney. We are hoping to combine an AM horseback ride with an afternoon trip to stingray city. Also can you tell me if you could go speedier than just a walk with the horses,we have an 11yr old who's never ridden,a 40 yr old who's ridden plenty, and varying abilities in between, also is it English or Western style riding? Thanks for your help!

Have a great time!!!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

And double yipee that the new menus are on their way! I can't wait to try the new stuff

Glad you are having a great time!

Would you happen to know if there will be menu changes on the Wonder as well?

Sounds like a wonderful time! Any word on illness? I hope everyone is having a wonderful...healthy vacation. :) :) :)

Have you see the movie marquee? curious whats showin... We are on right after you. 1/11 Eastern! Cant wait.!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Colleen and Charles and 4 Kiddo's

Who's in the dueling Piano Bar? We will be on the Jan 11th sailing and can't wait. Have a great time.

Silly question....If you are in the gift shop, can you check the price of the Christopher Radko DCL Ship Christmas ornament? Also, does it have a year painted on it, or is it just the ship? Sorry I don't have a more exciting request!

Did you book your horseback ride with Honey Suckle? I want to do that with my DD 7/8. I can't wait to hear your experience!!!

New menus... so does that mean that all dining rooms will have new menus by the time we sail on 2/1?

I sure am getting excited!!!

ENJOY!
Dawn

We booked our horseback riding directly with Nikki's Beach Rides, although Grand Cayman was just cancelled! But we were told that the ride is according to your ability, so trotting and cantering can be done for experienced riders.
I will check on the ornament and the dueling pianos players. The shops are going to be opened soon, since we will be at sea today and arriving in Cozumel at 10 tonight.

A couple more answers...
Dueling Pianos are Jeff and Felipe, and the new menus are being phased in, starting with Parrot Cay. That means at least some of them will be in place by Feb. I think a new one will be added each week. I'll check on the ornament this afternoon.
Hubby thinks I am insane because I want to see Lilo and Stitch again (it is showing at 4 this afternoon..he's in luck because our spa appointments will conflict with it, but I never get tired of seeing Cobra Bubbles say, "Thus far you have been adrift in the sheltered harbor of my patient..."

 I too love Lilo & Stitch and also thanks for checking out the Dueling Pianos for me. Last time I cruised we were in there almost every night we loved the venue so much, hope these two guys are just as good. Keep having a great time....

They are included in the price of your cruise... just like the shows... that's just one reason why cruising is so enjoyable!!!:Pinkbounc
