Hi, first time posting. Taking my kids to disney for 1st time

I am so excited. I am taking my two boys to disney for the first time on Sept 28th. I have been reading these boards for a few months and am writing down all the good stuff. I get to make my ADR's next Tuesday. I just wish the months would go a little faster. I have only been to dinsey one other time and I missed so much. It was 8 years ago. Thanks for all the tips. I look forward to getting to know you all.

be sure you continue asking any questions you might think of. we have been 11 times (6 before kids, 5 with kids) and we still think of stuff to ask. there will be someone on this board who can answer your question. what ages are the kids? hope you have a great time!

I hope you have a great time. I have two boys also. One of mine is named Noah too. Its a much more popular name than we realized when we named him 7 years ago! My boys are counting the days until we return to disney in November.

Just curious, have you told your kids yet that they're going. If not you should think up a really great way of telling them.

We're going back in the last week of August with our DS9 and DD5 to AKL. I'm trying to think up a really good way to tell them. I was thinking that when we get our DME tags I could re-mail them to our kids. When they get the mail (which they rarely get mail) it would be filled with Disney stuff welcoming them back to Disney.

You will definatley have a GREAT time. I always laugh because I used to work there waaaaayyy back when and when ever anyone visited they wanted me to take them to Disney. When I moved I never ever wanted to go back.

Several years later we were there visiting realatives and ended up going with our large families. DS was like 3 and DD was 1 the day after New Years! It was UNBELIEAVABLY Crowded but we had so much fun with our kids and seeing the look on their faces was amazing. Even though they will never remember it, we were hooked! 7 years later we average 3 trips a year with a cruise to boot and now own at DVC!

Not to mention I have been able to add 2 things to my Geeky Bucket List
I have been in the Caribbean, watching Pirates of the Caribbean dressed as a Pirate
&
I have ridden Pirates of the Caribbean dressed as a pirate!

Welcome, we took our first trip with the kids in November and it was perfect! The memories are priceless. Be sure to get a PhotoPass CD to capture all the great times, it was so much more convenient than remembering to dig out the camera all the time. Where are you staying?
