I hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by being in here...as I'm already married. My husband and I will be celebrating 5 years in June. The reason why I'm here is because we want to renew our vows for our 10th anniversary and we want to do it in WDW...and we're starting to plan NOW because we need to start saving now (he's in seminary, so a lot of our money is going to that...so we need to start saving as early as possible). So I hope that it's ok for you all to welcome in a married woman...I promise not to steal the spotlight from you wonderful blushing brides.

Congratulations!

What type of a vow renewal are you wanting to plan? I'm having an intimate wedding which allows you to invite 8 guests, and up to an additional 5 at a rate of $100 per extra guest. The cost of my wedding is only $2350, which will be added to our room bill at the end of our stay. You can have a custom vow renewal but I know the rates just went up to about a $10,000 minimum. My dad was in seminary while I was growing up, so I know there are times you can be on a really tight budget when it comes to anything it seems. I know disney has intimate vow renewals, and planning with them is really easy.

Ashley, thanks for the info! We were talking about the custom vow renewal just yesterday because we loved the idea of doing it at one of the countries in Epcot, but $10,000 minimum might be a bit too much for us. If we had it, we'd DEFINITELY do it, but that's when reality slaps us in the face. I had no idea, though, that you could do an additional 5 guests for only $100 per person for the intimate ceremony! How awesome! We'll definitely have to keep that in mind then...sounds like something we might wind up doing.

Hi Mary!

My DH and I will be married 10 years this month. He is currently deployed overseas so we will be celebrating our big anniversary next year when he comes home. We are doing Disney's 7 day Western Caribbean cruise and having our vow renewal on board with our three kids.
