I am home! We had a great trip, although the Disney part was way to short, but all and all the family vacation went off without a hitch!

So now I have tons of work on my desk and Christmas to think about!!!!

Oh well, It is good to be back!

Our trip….
Well the Disney part is not that exciting, sadly.

We headed down on a Wednesday and we tried out the magical express. We checked ourselves in at the Poly (thanks Conck!). First time there and it was really nice. Our room was great, close by everything and quiet!


We had an appointment that evening to look at DVC. It was actually quite enjoyable. Seeing the models was actually fun. My GF took everything apart. That’s what she does. She took apart the sleeper chairs to see how big, opened all of the cupboards and cabinets. It was all to funny. It was as if she was buying a house. So we talked for a while and looked at everything. We settled on Bay lake, but we still needed to talk about how many points. So back to the Poly we went.

Our first full day at Disney we spent at EPCOT. It was really nice, it was just the 2 of us. We have not been by ourselves in years. This time it was all about what we wanted to do or not do! So we stated with Nemo because he is so cute. We walked around a little while and then decided to try soarin. The line was a good 50 mins or so but not to worry. Because we looked at DVC we got some fast passes, and they were immediate use! So we stuck the card in and out came a fast pass for that exact minute. The Cm taking it looked at us weird because she had watched us get the fast pass and the time on the ticket we got was not the current return time for FP! So we had fun on that ( I love the smells) and then we headed for test track. I have not been on this ride in years. I am always the one staying behind with the smallest kid (honestly I am not a big fan especially when there is a huge line). We used the fast passes again! It was fun. I noticed that you get much more leg room in front than in the back. Then onto Spaceship earth. I love the new ride! We were laughing so hard at the end we had tears rolling down our cheeks.

I would finish the day but i have sooooo much work to finish!!!
