Hi, Everyone! I am re-introducing myself!

Hi! I used to post on the DIS Boards some time ago as Susana, but I got away from it when I didn't have any Disney trips planned (it was so hard to read about other people going to Disney when I knew I couldn't go for years). I decided I was ready to post again and my old user name had been disabled, so I have created a new name for myself and wanted to say hello to all the folks here on the boards now.

My one claim to DIS fame is that I was fortunate enough to meet Dan Murphy when I was at Disney World in February of 2001. I went chasing after him like a mad woman when he was getting his wristband for e-night one night and we had a nice conversation until he had to go meet some other DIS'ers and I had to find my family in the Space Mountain arcade. He even put my picture in his trip report when he came back - he is a super nice person!

Anyway, I am back in Disney mode now (I am planning a trip for myself, my husband and our daughter in February, a 20th anniversary trip for my husband and myself in May and an extended family trip in January of 2005), so I will be posting lots.

I am so happy to be back on the DIS again - I missed it!

Welcome back and congrats on your upcoming WDW trip. It will probably be about 2 years from now before we get to go again. We went this past April. How old is your DD? It will be exciting planning your trip with her - it is sooo much fun.

Browneyes - We live in Lawrenceville, and I work in downtown Atlanta.

Cati - My DD is 15. She loves Disney as much as I do, and I think I have even converted my husband! He was the one who suggested a trip for our 20th anniversary - we were there on our honeymoon, so it seems appropriate (and I would never turn down a Disney trip, anyway). I am SO EXCITED about getting to go so much this coming year - I didn't think that would ever happen!

I knew there were quite a few DIS'ers in this area. I am hoping that the next time there is a Georgia meet, I will be able to go - they sound like such fun!!

Thanks for the good wishes on the trip. We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge with a postcard rate (that's the only way we can afford to stay there) and my daughter is so excited! This is going to be a great Disney year!

Thank you for all the replies. I must admit, even when I wasn't posting, I still managed to keep up fairly well with everyone and would still read the boards from time to time. I have missed posting, and plan to do as much of it as time will allow. Such a nice group of people here - most of them are willing to help at any time, whether it's just to lend a listening ear, to talk Disney, or to give suggestions or advice when it is asked for. I am glad to be back!!

P.S. Dan, I enjoyed meeting and talking with you so much - I hope we do see each other again some time. Maybe I will be able to get to a Disney World meet - they sound like they are a blast!

P.P.S. Nativetxn, I am thinking about joining the Wish Board - I have tried Atkins before, but have strayed away from it. I decided I feel better eating Atkins, so I am going to give it another try. I like the look of the Wish board, so you may see me there!
