I've been a lurker for about a month now and I decided to finally do some posting! We'll be going to WDW in two weeks!!! We're so excited!!! My dad passed away this past Feb. so this is a special trip in memory of him (he was a HUGE disney fan).

I'm a young mommy with a DD who just turned two this past July. My DH and I have been together for almost 8 years and we just got married right after my dad passed away (for medical insurance reasons....).

We live on the island of Oahu.

I'm looking forward to start posting!!! Hopefully I can get some kind of ticker on here...

So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. It sounds like this will be a very special trip, and to be able to see it through the eyes of a 2 year old will make it even more special. Have a great time and if you need any help let us know!

Aloha Kaohu24! I was born and raised on Oahu. Grad from Pearl City HS in
98'. Moved to California about 5 yrs. ago for DH's job. Started going to DLR a lot (13 times from May 07-May 08)! Became DVC members in Jan of this year and took our 1st trip to WDW in Jan-Feb of this year. Stayed at BWV, SSR, AKV. Loved the location and nostalgia of BWV, loved the relaxing spa-like atmosphere of SSR, and the uniqueness of AKV (savannah view). I know you guys are going to LOVE WDW! Welcome to the boards!
