Hi! Anyone having issues with All Star Movie bookings in fall?

Hey everyone! Just looking for any insight, been trying to book All Star Movies checking in the day after Thanksgiving (I know busy time) all resorts seem to have availability but Movies shows none which seems odd to me. Anyone have thoughts on if they may be blocking rooms to release at a later date? In the meantime, I have Pop booked which I am fine with but looking to try out Movies. Could just be my dates but hoping there is just a block until the coming months. :-)
 
Side note, I get random availability on other dates, so this really could just be my dates and I need to hold out for someone to hopefully cancel..hahaha
 
I’m not looking at fall (I’m looking at end of May), but I can’t seem to book for the full stay, even though I can book for two separate stays in the same room type with the same discount package. I can also book for a full longer stay (which would accompany my dates). Is it possible for this entire resort to just be glitchy?

Maybe it is glitchy right now, I just keep checking but its really frustrating...lol 😂!!!
 

Had the same issue booking Movies for this past Thanksgiving (booked back in Dec. 2018). In the end, I had to book 3 separate reservations to get all the dates I wanted.
 
Movies has been...difficult. When I planned to go nov 2-10 I had to book 2 stays then call and it condensed to one stay with extending the dining plan. It was a hassle. When we changed to other dates movies showed (nov 8-17) but not for nov 8-16. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Same issues here and difficult to say the least!! I have played with the dates and can get all but one night. I may have to do as suggested and try for multiple res or just keep on checking multiple times a day. Hopefully between now November something opens up and if not I am completely fine with Pop. We just wanted to try something different and are excited about the new rooms since the values have been a touch outdated. Thanks for the info!! 😃

We stayed at pop Jan 2019 and we liked the rooms, my parents really liked the rooms and keep telling me we should book pop again. The prices for pop are 20-30 more a night though (I suspect due to the skyliner) so I thought heck do movies save a little money, go an extra day and have an extra park day and still save 100 compared to pop. Plus movies we could get a preferred room (though we drive to me having some disability issues so a preferred room isn’t a big deal). I still would rather do movies for 11/8-11/16 instead so the kids don’t miss 6 days of school but if I can’t get a good discount in nov then movies for 11/8-11/17 is fine with me.

So I took a chance and played with my dates. Turns out the last night was all that was keeping it from happening. So tried to book it as if I just needed the one night and there was availability. Called and spoke to a rep and she said they sometimes put a cap on the amount of nights which was possibly why I was only seeing it available for 7 nights and not 8. She made the call to guest services and changed everything over to Movies for the dates I wanted. I have not in the past heard of a cap on the amount of nights until now, at least not for 8 nights, 15+ nights maybe. We love Pop. Its been years since I have stayed at Music and just wanted to try something new. My cousin is on a bit of a budget so every little 30.00 here and there is helping her out. We drive also, I get terrible motion sickness on buses so I try to avoid them. Now I just have to hope for a preferred room which was available but I think she had had enough of me so I will do that on my own..lol.
