Hi!

Well we already planned our daughter's 5th B-day but then my son want a Be-lated B-day too!

He will be 12 (Pre-Teen)....Any suggestions about dinning or a special surprise we can organized....

Of course I already went to the PIXIE DUST WEBPAGE but is too expensive (300+) but any sugggestions are welcome...

I sure hope someone has an idea because my twinboys are going to be turning twelve when we go and I have no idea:bounce:

Well I hope someone can tell share ideas with us.... :earboy2:

How many are in your party? Perhaps you can make a basket of things he likes and have it delivered to the hotel before your arrival, then see if Guest Services can get you a birthday card signed by some of the characters and a birthday call.

Also, check and see about one of the specialty cruises for birthday parties. They decorate the boat and you can have some food on board.
:cheer2:

Thanks for the idea....!!!

We will be only 5 but maybe my sisters can join us because one of them works at Universal Studios and my other will be with us during those days...She lives in Tampa....About the basket there is a place that you can order that specially for boys....I look at Disney Florist but is too girly.....

Also, disney offers birthday packages in some of the hotels, etc. They run about $200 for 10 people. Check it out. I had posted a thread on it a while back, but with these new boards I am having a hard time locating. Do a search for birthday parties and see if you can bring it up.

I'd love to hear some ideas, too! We just moved our ressies back a week to get better prices on airfare, and this means that now my son's 6th bday will happen during our trip! So I'd like to do something special on that day (as if just being at WDW isn't special enough? )

I think for a 12yo most of the usual stuff may seem to youngish. He may get a kick out of wearing the birthday button, its often good for lots of well wishes and sometimes a few special treats. Thinking of my 12 yo godson he would love to do one of those mini sprite boats. I don't know of 12 is old enough to solo but I am sure you could find a willling adult to drive if necessary.

A special visit to DQ has to be ideal for a 12yo!

A couple of the tours allow kids - check here and on allearsnet for details on the tours.

Happy Birthday!
TJ
