Hi all!

Thanks for all of the messages sent to me. They really do mean alot.

I get my first day off tomorrow so I will get to sleep in !! Lots of long hours. the people of New York are very generous. We have processed in 2 weeks over 12,000 local volunteers. That is truly amazing.

I lost my AOL connection somehow and am going through my antiquated server through my office, so it is very slow., (took forever to type this)

what it must be like, Deb. I don't think anyone really realizes what it is you do until they walked a mile in your mocassins. I can't believe how hard it was to take the phone calls from the loved ones way down here; having to ask all those awful, awful questions. How have you and "Mom" done this for so-o long? It has to be very rewarding too!. Next time you are headed to the World please let me know, I will see if I can drive over to pick you up. Hope I get that call/post/e-mail soon.

Hey Deb! Nice to hear from you. Also glad too hear the NYers are coming out to help in droves. Hope you get lost of sleep on your day off. If you feel like cominig to CT the CTers are supposed to be getting together around stratford/milford for lunch. I could pick you up from the train station. One of the others would have to bring you back as "I gotta (go to) work."
