Hi all, i have been lurking for awhile now and have posted a couple of times.
I am not really dieting as much as i am just more aware of what i should and should not eat.I have lost 3 ponds in 2 weeks and i am down to about 131 and i am more worried about all this loose skin that i have.Over the last 8 years i have lost almost 50 pounds and have not worked out any in that time:( .I have been walking on my tread mill for the last couple of weeks about 1 1/2 miles about 4 times a week.Last night i walked 1 mile and then JOGGED 1 mile and then i did 75 crunches:bounce: :Pinkbounc i was so proud of myself that i got up this morning and jogged another mile.I am feeling so much better since i have started eating better and stopped all my caffeine,all i drink now is 1 cup of decaf and water and maybe two or three times a week i have a diet rite.Oh, i almost forgot my biggest accomplishment,I stopped smoking the First of July.
OK, i will shut up now, i just wanted to say Hi,and to let everyone know how much you have inspired me.

Way to go on the quitting smoking! I know that's tough!!

Good job with the treadmill, too - especially after not exercising for so long.....how did you lose those 50lbs w/o dieting and exercise?
 
I lost most of it after breaking up with an old boyfriend of 5 years and the rest of it came from(partying and doing things i should not have been doing)i am very ashamed to have lost weight that way but that is how it happened:(
 
Now you're on the right track, tho -- I'm glad you've gotten to the realization that you need to do this the "right" way with diet/exercise.

Keep checking in here - the WISHers are amazing - they never cease to amaze me when I check in here - they've given me such support even when I lost only 0.1 lbs this week :D

Glad to have you onboard here with us! WOW, Congratulations on your jogging accomplishment!! That is awesome!

3 pounds in 2 weeks is fantastic! Keep up with the exercise! All I can say about the loose skin is hang in there, it should (hopefully) disappear in time! I keep reading all these success stories in different magazines where women have given birth multiple times and lost a bunch of weight after carrying their "baby" weight for years. The "after" pictures show them with well defined, flat stomachs that they got through diet and exercise. Well, if they can lose those post baby tummies then our skin should shrink up as well!
