Hi guys,

I am a massive fan of horror films, but I had never heard of HHN before. I happened to stumble upon it randomly this morning.

Well it turns out that I'll actually be in Orlando for the opening weekend (if what I've read is true - Fri 26th Sep and Sat 27th Sep? - could someone please confirm?)

OMG, it looks so amazing.

Is there a link on here anywhere to a review of last year's one?

What time does the park stay open until on the night?

I'm in England - does anyone know if I'll be able to buy advance tickets from over here?

How much did it cost last year?

And finally - would you recommened going on Fri 26th Sep or Sat 27th Sep?

Sorry about having so many questions!!! I'm just so excited!!

Thanks in advance!

Craig

Sorry, one more Q!

What's the RIP tour?!

:confused3

RIP is VIP not Rest In Peace but Very Important Person. I'd highly recommend this tour for your first visit.

Thanks.

So what exactly does it involve?

And when would I need to book it?

A very knowledgable and experienced tour guide will take a party of around 12 through all of the houses bypassing all of those pesky, confusing, stressful lines and you get reserved seating at the shows like Bill and Ted. I would reserve it in Sept. or at least after they announce the dates for HHN.

Hey Craig...I always go opening night and it's usually the last weekend of September. Nothing has been officially released yet and probably won't be until late June.

I went five times last year and I LOVE HHN. I liked most of the houses last year and saw just about all of the shows. You might want to check to see if the website is still working. They won't have any ticket information...just bare minimum information now.

I'm looking foward to doing my first RIP Tour this fall during my fifth consecutive HHN. Macraven has done the tour before and can tell you all about it.

If you have any other questions, let us know.

Thanks for all the info so far guys. You have no idea how excited I am about this!! My birthday is September 28th too so it's all working out perfectly (fingers crossed that it will be on the last weekend in Sep!!)

Macraven - I'd love to hear about the RIP tour, what it involves and how much it costs etc

Cool deal...we might even have to have a DIS meet on opening night. I'll be there...no doubt about it. :thumbsup2

If you are staying onsite, would you get FOTL for HHN?

I love all the new lingo I've picked up today - yesterday the above sentence would mean absolutely nothing to me!!! lol :rotfl2:

No...HHN is a separate hard ticket event. The Express Plus passes are available for purchase and are highly recommended.

I can't remember what the costs were since I get the AP discount but the new information and website should be up by late June.

I went on a peak night and the EP was about $65, if I remember right.

For a 1st timer its worthit. Espiacally opening weekend.:thumbsup2
It seems like the actors are in thier best opening week and last week.(my opinion only):scared1:
The thing people seem to forget is...in the beginning everyone is still learning the roles and as the month progresses, all the houses seem to get better. That's why I like to go so many times spread out over the month.

Well I'm only gonna get 1 night there, which will probs be opening night, so I think I'll def go for either the express pass or the RIP tour

For me this is a once in a lifetime event so I don't mind paying out for it

(plus its my birthday so I'm hoping I can convince the girlfriend to pick the tickets up!!!)

Good strategy...I found this on Wikipedia and thought you might like to read it. The article gives you some information on HHN '07.
