I haven't read the article yet, but there seems to be quite a bit of info that has popped up today.

i read about the permits earlier today on csw.

with the new parade that UO has, i doubt they could utilize one of the parade buildings for a house.


i'm completely and totally addicted to HHN


we all would love as many houses as possible but if it is 7 houses this year, i'm good with that.

Excellent! Though with only two HHNs under my belt, I had to look up a couple of those "new" house locations Turns out I've hung out in front of B44 several times without even knowing it, but where is SS20? Is it in the same area that includes 23 and 22?

And nooow... the wait for the teaser begins. I'm thinking late June for that.

That's a sound stage so it's in the same general area as the others.

Just got my October trip all squared away after a few bumps in the road. Very excited ... we just did Disney for a week with no Universal, and I felt like I was in a foreign country, lol.

Well considering one of the house locations was demolished (Jaws Queue), i'm not too shocked to see 1 less house this year.

also of note.... I've noticed that Google Maps has updated their images of the park. The Original Hardrock is now gone, and you can see the Walled canyon going thru the Jaws section....

I'm guessing that they won't lower the house count to 7, as they do love to talk about 8 haunted houses and it just wouldn't be good marketing if they were to lower the house count. There are rumors going around about one house actually having two different paths it in, which you could say makes 8 houses. Or maybe they will just surprise us, but I would be surprised if they do only have 7.

But, with us losing Jaws and Parade Building (assumingly due to the new parade), who knows what they might have in store? They could always put another one in the soundstage, but that side would get crowded...

At least we have construction to look forward to

I agree...I don't see them stopping at seven houses. The rumor about two different paths is interesting...we'll see what happens.

Last year was our first HHN - but def not the last! Thanks to all of you who keep the excitement building by posting all of the news! 13 year old DD pushed us to US/HHN last year (instead of Disney) - and we had a great time!
