It's really only about 45 mins and you'll find it doesn't take long for it to pass. There are lots of people chatting and milling about and of course...you can always get a drink at Finnegan's while you're waiting. So If you have the S&S ticket and I herd they rope off a area where they hold you at,where Is that and how long are you there for and Is there anything to do while you wait?![]()
They tend to zero in on the ones that do react and get scared so it's doubtful they would follow you around if they can see that you're not. They tend to like the easy targets they can get a big reaction out of.So I was reading on another thread that the sacareators try to really get you shook up,now not saying I may noy but I dont get all scared at movies. Will they contenue to get In your face, and try to get you scared. I can see my self getting annoyed If they contenue beyond that.
we are going to MNSSHP and really looking forward to that to,we do not do the local Haunted Houses there all put on by local radi stations and seem to be about getting teenagers In there more then anything else.So we do stay away from those.
You're taking a 16-year old boy to MNSSHP? Umm, OK. Well HHN will certainly be a different experience. Just a few things you may have missed.
Stay and Scream to most people means you go to the park during the day then stay for HHN. Not everybody does that. My wife and I, for instance, are AP holders so we stroll in about 30 minutes before closing then head to Finnegan's. Non-passholders usually get there a lot earlier. Bottom line is a long day, for some starting around 7am and going until after midnight, especially those who only have one day and night to get everything in. I would suggest plenty of rest the day before.
Since it is a late night make sure you are covered for transportation back to your hotel. Worse comes to worse you can go to the passenger dropoff area and catch a cab.
One last thing to consider: since you have been looking at the HHN threads you will have noticed that they are posting dates people plan on being here. They normally end up getting together in the S&S area. It's a good way to pass the time and get some last minute hints, especially if there are some regulars there. Be sure to check and see who will be there and say hello. That thread is:

Thanks for the Info, but what would be wrong with MNSSHP for 16yo, I my self would like to go to It and I am his 41 yo Dad.
Purseval,no I would not expect my DS to like anything of what I like unless he like It him self!. My Ds loves Disney,he actually would pefere togo to WDW then US Hands down
Ok I am going back and fourth on weather to dish out 225.00for both of us me and my 16yo DS for the stay and scream package on HHN, plus transportation to and from POP. I have decided If we are going to go to the S&S,Its the only way to go,but from reading diffrent post about HHN from the the Houses only takeing about 10 min(not counting wait times to get In) to get through and the scare zones set up to scare the teenagers and the older kids I dont seem to see It worth paying out the extra Big Bucks for the night!. Now I like watching horror movies, the special effects and the work that goes Into them and It would be for that reason neat to go,I guess what I want Is some one to tell me that Its worth 100.00+ per person to go see and why? whats going to knock my socks off that I walk out that night saying wow that was worth It.
