Forgive me if this is common knowledge. I just can't find it anywhere! In which park is HHN held?

Thanks! :)

Thank you! I thought I had scoured the site, but I missed that! We will not be attending HHN, so I want to avoid US that day!

Avoid it which day? The event takes place throughout the whole month. AND...the park is open during the day for regular business. It then closes at 5 p.m. (and IOA closes at 7...I think) to make way for the mayhem at night. You can visit USF during the day, and not have anything scare you from HHN. No need to avoid it.

I want to avoid the US the day of the event. If it's anything like MNSSHP, the crowds will be up that day. I am not worried about being scared -- just want to avoid the crowd. ;)

No, it wont be. Like I said, the event takes place all throughout the month. If you go to the park during the morning first thing, you'll be able to see everything. Believe it or not, October is a slow time for Universal.

Also, if you're in the park at closing, you can take advantage of the Stay and Scream ticket. You should be able to see at least a couple of houses before the crowds, entering at the official time, catch up to you.

Edit: :guilty: Sorry, I just noticed that you said you won't be attending HHN. Never mind!

Even on the last Friday in October last year, during the day, the crowds were relatively light, especially in the morning. So don't worry about the crowds during days that HHN is happening at night. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the advice! We don't plan to be commandos on this trip anyway, so we will probably be out of the park a few hours before the event.
