HHN Too Scarey?

Okay, can someone who has been to Halloween Horror Night tell me if it is too scary?
How about if we just stayed out of the haunted houses?
It looks cool, and I'd love to be in the park after dark, but the characters chaseing us around kinda freeks me out.
Just how scary is it?

Some say it's very scary, some say it's not. You'll have characters trying to scare you everywhere you go, and the haunted houses are the same way.

I like it, because it's fun. If I get scared, I laugh it off later.

They will chase you in the streets but not in the houses. So if being chased is your problem, you can do the houses. It's mainly just people popping out in various places, whereas on the street (on nights it's not too crowded) the mobile characters will chase some people.

I haven't been to IOA for HHN, but I went 3 times at US and it was very eerie and spooky. Fun, but there were some parts where your heart would pound...especially in the houses.
