Last year we were only able to attend for one evening so we purchased a 'Stay & Scream' ticket which enabled us to stay in the park after closing & get a bit of a head start on the people coming in just for the evening. This year we are hoping to stay at the HRH for a week & attend more than one event. We will already have a 7-day unlimited pass for daytime entry. If we then purchase a 'Frequent Fear' pass will we still be able to stay on in the park after closing until the HHN event starts (like last time with the S & S ticket) or will we have to leave & then be re-admitted with the evening crowds??? If this is the case I am thinking we may be better off just buying 2 S & S tickets.
I know I shouldn't even be thinking about this while we're still in March but we're excited already & planning helps to pass the time!!!!

Yes, as long as you have your 'Frequent Fear' on you then you can stay in one of the holding areas inside the park and get a head start on the crowds.

What if you just have a 7 day pass and a one night HHN pass? Would I have to leave the park then and come back in?

In order to take advantage of S & S, you must have a day ticket and a HHN ticket for that night. If you purchase the FF pass...like I do, you are good for HHN non-peak nights but you still have to have a ticket to get into the park for that day. Since you will have the seven day ticket and will already be inside the park before it closes, you can stay in the holding areas.

As long as you have a valid day ticket and valid HHN ticket for the night you want to go, you can hang out in the S & S area.

based on last years cost for the FFP, it is to your advantage to purchase it if you are going to 3 non peak nights of HHN.

anyone with a day ticket to the parks can buy the stay and scream ticket.
it is called an ADD ON ticket.

you can purchase it at guest services the day you plan to stay in the park and use the S & S holding area.

like Metro stated, you need the HHN ticket in order to stay in the park at the holding area instead of leaving the park at 5:00.

once you leave, you have a forever and a day wait outside in line to get in.

the line usually starts to form around 5:20.
the park opens at 6:30
and you have to go thru the metal detectors in order to enter the park.

it takes more time than you want it to.

you are much better off staying in the park if you have the hhn ticket.
if you are not in the park that day, be sure to enter with your day ticket and be there no later than 4:50.
