HHN Ticket Question

I have decided to get an Annual Pass for our October and February trips but don't want to buy until just before we go. So I have worked out the cheapest option would be the Stay and Scream tickets for HHN alongside the AP's. My question is, will the Universal site let me purchase the Stay and Scream tickets without a day ticket i.e. an AP?

It does not appear that it will let you do that. If you are purchasing AP's for your entire group you would not need the stay and scream option, just the hhn ticket as your ap would already give you daytime admission, so the hhn ticket combined with the ap = stay and scream.

Since you have to go to Guest Services to activate the AP, just wait and purchase the HHN ticket at the same time as you activate the AP. HHN tickets are date specific and usually can not be changed except for another date of the same value. I doubt seriously HHN would sell out for the night you're going. Passholders get special rates for the HHN tickets so check the website for the AP rates.

If you have an AP, you can buy the Frequent Fear pass for less then a one night HHN tix. It's good for 13 nights (first weekend and then S/W/T) and it's only $55. Even if you don't have an AP, the FF pass is only $70. I've read on here that you get the benefits of the Stay and Scream that way. Anyone know for sure?

Yup...you only need the day admission (annual pass) and the HHN ticket to utilize S & S.
