Hey all,

4 of us are going to HHN this Saturday the 18th. We'll be doing both parks during the day and then staying for HHN after the main park closes.

I need help with the best strategy to maximize the amount of houses we do without an express pass.

I know there are a few S&S spots around the park, but what do you all recommend to do if we want to get these houses done in order of importance:

1) TWD
2) Halloween
3) AvP

We are looking forward to all the other houses as well but those are our top 3. What is the best strategy for the S&S and then for the rest of the night? I have read somewhere that TWD has an effect at the end of the house that would not be as effective in the daytime, and sunset is going to be around 6:51 pm. We're all relatively fit and are prepared to move quickly from one house to the next in order to get as much in possible.

THANK YOU!!!

If your main goal is to see those three houses first, the S & S area at Finnegans is going to be the best one. AVP is the early house for that holding area and TWD is right next door. Do AVP then head over to TWD which opens at 6:30pm. They will let you queue before the house opens. Halloween is beside MIB so its on the other side of the park. Lines will be long for TWD and Halloween throughout the night so be prepared.

Make sure you do The Colony before Dollhouse since the exit for The Colony ends at the entrance to the Dollhouse queue. It saves you many steps to those two houses in that order.

The others can be done in whatever order you wish.

the TWD now opens at 6:00.
i did it at 5:50 on wednesday night/15th.

all the houses will be open at 6:00 with the exception of Dracula which opens at 6:30.

they made these changes on the 10th.

TWD is a great house but it is better when it is dark outside.
the final stage of that house has strob lights and you get the total effect of it once it is dark outside, usually just after 7:00.

when you do Halloween house, make sure you go before Bill/Teds show lets out.
the crowd tends to hit that house when they are let out of that show.
it drives the wait times up then.
