Help! We have already bought our US/IOA and Stay and Scream tickets for October 18. My husband and I are travelling alone and weren't aware it was "hell week"when we bought them. Any suggestions to make the night easier as we can't change our reservations? Also, should we prepare for extra crowds the 19, 20 and 21?

We were there during hell week 2 years ago - like you I had no idea it even existed until after we were booked. We still had a great time but the crowds were thicker and younger. Express will be helpful if that's a possibility. You're gonna have a great time!

Of those dates, October 18 should be the least crowded.

we are going sunday oct 14 we bought the extra express pass i think its called for the one night , first timers any an all help would be apprecaited ..
are rides open/ i read there are houses you go thru, should we start at the first one or go to the back since we have our pass thing? should we do thepoark the same day as we didnt buy park hoopers passes so 1 park a day for total of 4 days. i dont suppose the HNN ticket can make it be a 5th day?

There are usually four attractions open during HHN but I don't know if they've announced them yet. Since you have an Express Pass for that night, it won't really matter which order you do the houses in. I don't think I've ever waited more than about 20 minutes during HHN in the Express lane.

If you decide to go to the Studios and HHN the same day, you can take advantage of Stay & Scream which will allow you to stay in the park after closing and wait in a holding area while the park is set up for HHN. Once the park is ready, you will be released into the park (usually 30 minutes before the general public). There are usually a couple of houses open early for S & S people so you can do those with no or very little wait.

Also...do not use your EP if the wait time is under 20 minutes...go through the regular line and come back with your EP when the line is long.
