HHN planning - a few ?'s

if you buy your day tickets in advance from cosco or ut, you won't be able to get the discounted stay and scream/ add on/ hhn tixs from the ticket site online.
you would have to buy the hhn tixs in the park.

to receive the discounted hhn tixs, show your day park ticket to qualify for that add on.

:thumbsup2

i was excited until i saw the various type of tix/prices

i wish they'd announce their official start date soon

nice to see they're still considering rush of fear for 1st 10 nights/1st three weeks of HHN. If it starts this year on 9/15, and 'dates' mean HHN nights falling in the 1st 3 weeks, i think:confused: the pass would work out for my dates again (1st week in October)

The only thing I was excited about was the hint that they may offer a Sunday thru Friday ticket... I know this is like the FFP Plus but at an FFP price. Last year we had a little more leeway, but this year we'll be there Thursday thru Sunday and hoping to go every night. This means if everything stays the same I'll have to do 4 FFP Plus's and 4 Single Saturday night tixs. It'll be a little more expensive but of course it's well worth it!!!

:love:HHN:love: Double the Love!!!

yes i did.
that smsm promo that started last year/'11, carried over to jan '12.
therefore i was able to book in december '11 for this years stay.
last year it was a 33% discount, this year it is a 30% discount.

i see they have extended the smsm so i might do the same for '13.

some years i have booked with AAA then switched to the promos when they came out.
a few times the promos for the fall did not show up until spring.

AP hotel rates are not out that far in advance which is why i use the AAA to secure the room.
my priority is hotel, room type, then price.

the ap room rates for the fall should be out in the late spring.

i'll only switch if those ap rates fall in september to the cheap rate.
that is if i can switch in time.

otherwise, i'm good for where i am with the 30% off.

Yep, I do the same thing!!! :thumbsup2 I went with the SMSM this year and judging from last year's pricing, that will be a better deal than the AP price... or at least what I booked at last year. But we didn't stay long enough to get SMSM last year. Adding an extra night this year.... YIPEE!!!
