HHN parent question

Ok- confession time! I am a huge scardy pants. My DD-14 and her DF want to go to HHN. I can't let them go by themselves, is there somewhere I can go and be entertained and not be horrified? Please ease my fears

I know some friends who like to go to HHN just to people watch and you can always sit on the benches near the house entrances. People watching is always fun and if you don't want to do the houses, that might entertain you. Keep in mind that you must go through scarezones which are located throughout the park. Bill and Ted's show is always fun for everyone.

Most if not all of the sit down restaurants should be open.

Bill and Ted's show is always fun for everyone.

Actually there is a way to go to the houses without going through the scarezones I believe. You just go directly below the Deadtropolis scarezone along the lake area in the middle and you can get to Dungeon of Terror, Psychopath and PUTS. You can also get to the Arrival show without going through a scarezone. But, keep in mind that you miss A LOT of themeing in those zones and they aren't all that long to walk through, it's more fun!

The areas that wont inhabit scarezones will be used as roaming grounds for the Chainsaw Drill Team. And from what I've heard, the Drill Team will be using group scares. So technically speaking, you aren't really safe.

But since you are going, there are definetly stuff you can do that can entertain you. Try seeing Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure, it's a great show that's full on laughs. The Arrival is a pretty creepy show, but is still pretty intresting to see. And don't forget to see the Sweet 16 lagoon show, it's basically a montage of horror movies and HHN history. Plus, it has some great effects that affect the whole park, so that's something that is really cool to see.

To be honest, you will be scared. The atmosphere of it all can be intimidating to some people. But it can get really fun. I would reccomend to do atleast one haunted house. Then you can say you went to a HHN house!

My lil bro had nightmares from it but he got over it, lol. He loved the event cause it's completely different from Disney's and in a good way.
